Overall, my stay was very enjoyable. We were near family members we needed to see and close to the attractions we took our families and friends to. The service at the hotel was "SUPERB". The staff were all great. My hotel room stayed clean when returning from outings. I most definitely would choose this location next time I visit New Orleans. I'm not a stranger to the "Big Easy"; I've only had to relocate due to Katrina.

It was convenient. The room smelled like smoke and as a result I had a headache. The hotel was convenient but because of the smoke smell I was uncomfortable.

My husband strained his back hauling our bags up 2 flights of stairs because the ONLY elevator was broken. The room had an overwhelming smell of urine. When we went back to the desk they told us (without going into the room) that the smell was not URINE (I'm not sure how they knew that without smelling it themselves), but checimals used to clean the room. Maybe their chemicals could not remove the URINE odor. They offered to use a chemical to clear out the room, but we could not be there for its use. I'm not sure why they didn't use in before we checked in since they already KNEW the room smelled. We were traveling with a baby, so we decided that this hotel was using too many chemicals and could not offer us a stench free room, we would stay elsewhere

This place was okay. Not great, but not too bad. The staff was friendly and it was an easy drive over the bridge right into downtown and the French Quarter. We reserved a room with two queen beds. When we checked in, they made a big deal out of us getting a "suite". I thought I had hit the lottery of rooms. It was just a corner room, so it was bigger. It only had one bed. The couch was a pull out. The first night on it was rough. On the second night, we pulled the mattress on the floor, which was better. The bathroom didn't feel too clean and when I turned on the water, red grit and such came out every time. It is right next door to an IHOP, so I skipped the continental and went for pancakes. Yum! If you want a decent place to stay and you don't want to pay ridiculous money for a bed and a shower, then I would consider staying here.

It was close to an international house of pancakes. At 5:00 p.m. I still had to wait for my room to be made ready and the only ice machine was broken. The staff was polite but not very customer friendly, You don't want to here power lawn machines at 6:00 a.m. and the facilities. Machines should be in working order. Would I stay there again? No! Would I recommend this facility to anyone? No!

The staff was helpful. It smelled a little funky.

It was in a great location. They had to move me 3 times before the room I got in was suitable. I checked in and the first room they gave me had no comforters. I called them to let them know, they just moved me into another room. The next room they moved me into, the AC didn't work. I called them to let them know. They sent a guy to look at the AC and determined that it was broken. They moved me into another room. By this time, I was getting aggravated because that was 3 times I had to move my bags, 3 times I had to move my vehicle and 5 times I had to walk up 3 flights of stairs to get to my room.

Hotel staff were as friendly as they get and I stat in hotels 150 nights a year! Non smoking room but smelled otherwise. Great location, great friendly staff, great price.

Good hotel for the price, pretty safe area. Smelled like smoke, I had to ask for towels. Good hotel for the price, make sure you get good directions though because it's easy to get lost in the bad areas around N.O.

The staff was very courteous and professional. Not as clean as I would have liked and too many roaches.

Can really say much I don't feel it was worth the money. The staff where not helpful at all. it was not very pleasant and the hotel staff were not help full and our room didn't get clean after we even called them to do it all they said were sorry and the would get to it tomorrow.

Price and service. No newspapers in the USA or times boxes. We have stayed at this hotel before and would do so again.

The location was great. The housekeeping services was not up to par. If you are looking for a decent hotel with good location, then this is a great choice.

Location was great! Unattractive. The hotel is a motel and the room was unclean. The bed smelled and there was a dirty towel on the back of the door in the bathroom. The staff was not very helpful and they lied about having a room on the first floor as requested. After they had to move us, we were moved to a first floor room that magically became available in 30 minutes. I would not recommend anyone go to this hotel. It is filthy and unattractive.

Free internet. Lodgment - only 18 TV channels - poor picture quality - no adjustments allowed. I'm going to start checking hotel websites to see if they subscribe to "lodge net", which allows you to order movies in your room. Lodge net (at least at this location) only give you 18 free channels, and adjusting the TV¿s brightness or color is not allowed.*hotels without lodge net usually have about 60 channels, and the TV¿s menu system allows for picture adjustments.

The room was clean; bed was comfortable, bath small and not user friendly. Because of Katrina, a lot of life has left the area and we had trouble locating a place to eat. The hotel was fine. The area will hopefully come alive given time. I am willing to wait. I love Louisiana.

This hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. This hotel was a little confusing to get to. Our stay at the La Quinta Inn New Orleans West Bank was a great experience. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. It was also conveniently located to Bourbon St. and the French Market. The only problem was it is a little confusing to get to or perhaps I just received bad directions.
