Hotel's location was fine. Room was dirty, shower dirty, towels old and rough. Most employees smelled like cigarettes. People smoke right outside of the door leading in and out of hotel so you always had to walk through that.

Reasonable rates. Easy to find. Room was Smokey. Great experience, I just need to make 100% sure I asked for a non smoking room in the future.

Day staff was really friendly with positive attitude. They were good to point out interesting sites about the historic features of Franklin

We used the hotel to attend a family wedding. Upon arival, our room wasn't ready and they were unwilling to give us any other room available in order for us to dress for the wedding. Even after explaing our situation and the fact that we couldn't wait 2 1/2 more hours for the room to be cleaned, the lady on duty still made no attempt to come up with a solution for us. We offered to take a smaller room but she refused to budge. We talked to the cleaning staff and they were willing to clean our room sooner in order but the receptionist on duty still refused to allow it. She was totally unsympathetic or helpful and showed no care for our plight. I don't care how wonderful a hotel is, if they treat me like dirt, I'd rather pay more and go somewhere else that will at least appear to work with me. We had to leave for the wedding hot and dressed in our travel clothes since the hotel bathroom was a filthy mess. Also upon arrival, their front parking lot was begin resurfaced on a weekend and you had to park in back and walk totally around the building to enter through a back door. There were no signs to instruct guests how to get to the desk from the back and by the time you walked that far in 100 degree heat, you were overcome with the fumes of the tar. Overall, this hotel did not care about their image or inconvenience to their guests. It showed in every aspect of the hotel.

It is in a great location. It is about five miles from a nice mall area, which has a lot of places to eat. The hotel is right next a major highway which made it easy to get to the city of Nashville. And Franklin itself has lots to do and see. The indoor pool was great place to relax with the family. It was nice to be inside instead of outside in the summer heat. It was a very good deal for the price.

Clean; quiet; good AC in room; fluffy towels; GREAT mattress on bed, good pillows; recliner in room. Small public space; sort of difficult to get to. The place was clean, quiet, and updated enough to be welcoming. A decent value for the price I paid. The mattress on the bed was FABULOUS! And the pillows were great and lots of them, too. The white towels were fluffy and large, and having a recliner in the room is nice. The desk provided a place for a laptop and had a comfortable desk chair. And, the room's light bulb wattage was good. A very nice stay.

We have stayed at this hotel, for weeks at a time for about 8 years now while visiting family. It used to be a Baymont but they sold it to La Quinta. This would be a normal, run of the mill hotel except for BEDBUGS! My husband ended up with welts on his legs and arms, and my little boys with bite marks all over their waist, hips, and bottom. I saw some red ants in the pool area so I thought that they were in the towels, but then I got the bites too and I didn't go swimming. The room was much dirtier than the rooms we had in the past (mostly the carpet) although I think they were tryiIng to improve the property. DONT STAY HERE! I made my husband stop going to the pool before anyone thought he had some horrible skin disease.

The poor was fantastic and service was very friendly. The carpet had a foul odor. The overall experience was excellent. However the carpet smelled bad.Otherwise it was clean, friendly and the pool was so nice. I will visit the same hotel when I revisit Franklin, TN.

This was my first trip to Franklin. The staff at the front desk was very nice, and very helpful when I asked how to get places. The room was clean and the indoor pool was very nice. If I made another trip to Franklin, I would stay here again.

The location. They gave us a room that was occupied, then put us in a smoking room. The desk clerk on arrival was disorganized and placed us in a room that was occupied. Then she changed the room to a smoking room. We tolerated it because we were in a hurry to get to the Dickens festival downtown. The manager did give us a coupon the next morning at check out when I told him of our experience.

Stayed here while waiting to close on a house. Had our dog with us for four days, and thought the staff was helpful and friendly. Very clean room (had a suite). Lots of breakfast choices.

This is absolutely the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. Indoor pool closed during our stay for health reasons and rooms were nasty, breakfast area was unhygenic.

The beds were very comfortable. The bath needs updating and they need ice machines on the first floor. Very good staff. Clean. Quiet. Comfortable. Will stay again.

Filthy elevator, stairwells and lobby rest room. Room better, but far from truly clean. In 5 days, key card had to be reprogrammed 4 times. Staff OK, but place needs major overhaul.

The beds were wonderful, bathroom adequate andvery useful. Istay at thehotel for the pool but it was down for maintance. The hotel met with all my requirements except the pool was down for maintenance. It at least looks like it would have been wonderful. The only thing we didn't like was the continental breakfast that was provided ended at 9am.

Plesant staff - clean rooms - reasonable access to interstate. Breakfast item selection was very limited. Overall, I felt this was a good place to stay and would use it again for my business and ministry travels.

"The front desk clerk met us with a friendly welcome and smile. Speedy check-in. Educated us on layout of hotel. Hotel clean. Called about 15 minutes after our arrival to room to make sure everything was okay and to state to call with any problems. Great continental breakfast. Felt safe. Highly recommend to others. Only problem was door lock broken however did not return until about 1a.m. to room so did not report or request new room; reported incident in a.m. and staff apologized and stated would report to maintenance. Overall, great stay."

Next door to Cracker Barrell Restaurant. Smelled like smoke in a non-smoking room. I have stayed here many times over the past 5 years and continue to go back. Actually, it is time for a face-lift, like drapes, carpet, etc. I am an old hotel manager and I notice these things.

"lobby wasn't a good first impression, it was dirty. The security doors wouldn't close, much less locked. rooms we shabby"
