Close to the highway and accessible to local attractions. Television was not working properly.

When we first checked in we were allowed to check in early. The woman at the front desk was extremely helpful. She gave us info on places to eat in the area and traveling directions to all of San Diego's family hot spots. We wouldn't have experienced the seals on La Jolla Beach if it weren't for her. We had 3 adults and 2 young children (4 and 7) staying in a standard two bed room. The room fit us all. We were pleasantly surprised when the room came with a fridge, micro and coffee maker. The room was very clean was kept up that way for the 5 nights we stayed there. The cleaning staff was very friendly. The pool and hot tub area was kept neat and the pool was clean and heated. The only thing about it was that it was small in comparison to the amount of people that were using it. Location of this hotel was fantastic. Right off of I-8 and only a few minutes drive from the Zoo and Sea World. There was a mall/shopping center across the highway. We couldn't hear any traffic from our room. That was nice. They offered a continental breakfast with hot and cold options. The food was always well stocked and the room it was served in was decent sized. If we ever make it out to San Diego again we would definitely stay at La Quinta again.

We've stayed at La Quinta before. No surprizes. Our hotel was centrally located to just about everything in San Diego, but we were there for a funeral / memorial service - so no visits to Sea World, the Zoo, etc. We did go out on the Ocean Beach Pier and the Pacific Beach Pier though - both great places to contemplate. Our air conditioner didn't work well and it "pinged", but don't take that as a complaint. Life isn't perfect.

Clean. Did not like the placement into a handicapped room, as I am not handicapped and the room was tiny. The bathroom was large with handicapped features.

Stayed here on a girl's trip to San Diego. It was an easy drive to Mission Beach, Gas Lamp Quarter, Coronado Island, close to Starbucks and Target. We walked next store to the Hilton to enjoy a few evening drinks. The room has a DVD player, so bring some movies! Hot tub was not very warm which was really the only downside of the hotel. The free breakfast was great! Waffles, yogurt, toast, muffins, fruit, coffee, cereal, juice, etc.

Everyone there was extremely helpful, friendly and courteous! Our room was always clean and the one day we were lagging in getting out of the room, they called to say they were waiting to make sure we wanted the room cleaned. Everyday, she did a superb job. The front desk staff were always friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!! And, the best part is, we didn't pay an arm and a leg to stay there! THANK YOU!!

Staff was helpful at check-in and upgraded to better room without charge. Somewhat run down, elevator was scary and safety certificate had expired. The hotel was nice, but not anything to get excited about. The staff was great at check-in and upgraded us to a better room without any charges. The continental breakfast isn't really much, but it took care of our needs for the most part. Don't use the elevator though unless you have to, the safety certificate is expired and when the elevator moves it sounds like it's going to fall to the ground level.

The staff was very friendly. We needed something, and the staff brought it up with in 10 minutes. Beds were pretty comfortable. And the room did not smell ! The breakfast was perfect, something for all. All 3 days, there was fresh towels and we returned to a very clean room. The only thing we didn't care for was the parking garage, but there seemed to be enough parking out front. We would definately stay there again, and recommend it to a friend.

We enjoyed our stay at the La Quinta Inn Mission Valley. We weren't in the room much due to the great location and so many things to do in San Diego. The deluxe continental breakfast was really good. Our standard room was very comfortable and clean. The only downside to the weekend was that the jacuzzi was under repair (until Mid-July)and the pool area was a bit small (our kids still enjoyed themselves).

Staff quickly relocated us to another room because of barking dog. Clock radio alarm rang early the next morning. Hotel was clean and convenient. Suggested that housekeeping check clock radio alarm not on as they prepare rooms for next guests.

I never thought that a motel could be this small, not much larger than a walk-in closet. In fact, we had to rearrange the furniture to get to the bed and bathroom. This really effected our view of this motel. It is a good location for Old Town, and the staff is somewhat cordial. But the parking garage is hard to get in, and the elevator only worked part of the time. The continental breakfast was good and the landscaping was excellent.

Small, dirty rooms. First of our Non-smoking rooms smelled. Second smelled better but visibly filthy carpet. Uncomfortable beds (too hard) and weak water pressure in shower. Would have been barley acceptable had this room cost half the price.

We stayed here for 3 nights and everything was great. All of the employees that we had any contact with were all very nice and freindly, the front desk has maps printed up with all of the resturants in the area that made it very easy to make choices. This was one of the cleanest motels that I have stayed in both in the room and the outside areas. The free breakfast was fine for what they have, cearals, fruits, and waffels.I would surely stay here again.

La Quinta Inn had great service and the room was very clean. The room was a little on the smaller side but very well furnished. The small refrigerator and microwave were a plus. The location of the hotel is very convenient because it is close to Sea World and the Gaslamp area.

The room exceeded our expectations! It was lovely! Nothing I can think of! We stayed here after our visit to the San Diego Zoo. The staff at the front desk gave us options as to where we could see the Pacific Ocean. They suggested La Jolla Cove and it was a fabulous experience for our family!

I was very disappointed in the La Quinta Inn San Diego-Mission Valley, SAN DIEGO, CA. There was no parking and we had to park out on the street for both days. There is especially no parking for larger vehicles that you would use to go on a family vacation. The stucco on the outside had black mold on it, as well as the bathroom walls. Staff kept turning our air conditioner off every time we left the room. Each time we came back to a very hot room. The rooms were non-smoking, yet no smoking areas were provided outside. There were no seating areas or ashtrays available. The balcony and walkways were used as ashtrays. The location was adequate. Check in and out was very fast.

Pool and great location. Breakfast room was too small and crowded. Great location, comfortable and we would definitely stay at the hotel again and recommend it to others.

I was very comfortable but the view out my window was not so nice like a jeep dealership with service area in view and the parking was to tight. My boyfriend has a truck it was a challenge to find a space. Other wise friendly.
