Always clean and neat. This is my second stay at this LaQuinta and I have always been impressed by the linens and performance of the Air Conditioning. Its a great place for the price. My AC unit was a bit on the fritz (switching on and off constantly, like 5-6 times in 30 seconds) but it still kept the room ice cold. Management handled the issue well. I will stay there again in the future.

Soft bed, quiet, andprofessional front desk. Musky smell until AC had been on for a few hours.

Overall the room was in need of some updating but what drew us to it was their very easy-going pet policy. They have no size restrictions and no pet deposit, which made bringing out 90lb lab with us no problem. We didn't try the breakfast, but there is are at least 3 different restaurants within walking distance.

Room was clean. Staff was helpful. Bed was comfortable. Continental Breakfast was good. Pool closes too early - 9:30 pm.

The location, the pool. Poor maid service, breakfast bar was a joke, bananas black as coal. The staff where very friendly, the breakfast sucked, bananas where black and old, need afresh fruit daily.

The room had no small fridge, ash trays, wastebasket, and the wireless was inop. I was told that it would be repaired the next day. Found out that that was wrong and the wireless had not worked since february. Monday breakfast was nil, run out of food the day before and didn't prepare for the next day. Other than that, no problems

The receptionist working at the front desk was very helpful in our situation. We felt that the room lacked in cleanliness. The hotel did not appear to be on the clean side, and within 10 minutes of being there we found a roach and dirty towels left over in our room. There was also old dry cleaning still hanging up in the closet and the bed sheets were damp. We got switched to another room which was cleaner than the first but still not up to the standards.

1. Hotel amenities were reasonable and what was expected for the price. 2. It was very convenient that several tour companies came out to the hotel for pickup. 3. The continental breakfast while not spectacular was acceptable (and filling). 4. The "Midtown" part of the hotel name is misleading. I think it is more accurate to say it is on the "Southside". The historic district was ~4-5 miles from the hotel. 5. Although not very close to the downtown restaurants, there were plenty of restaurants within 1-2 miles of the hotel.

The stay was not horrible, it just was not that great. The place was as clean as it could be for an old hotel. The carpet was dirty and had a slight moldy odor. The staff was nice. Rooms here should be in the $65 range. I would not feel comfortable paying more to stay here.

It was right next door to a family restaurant. Couldn't find regular channels on the TV. It was a good choice and we will choose this one again.

For virtuallay the same price as this hotel you can stay at the one across the street . The hotel across the street (Clubhouse Inn) has inside corridors, keycard access, a big hottub, great courtyard with pool and the most amazing free buffet breakfast I have EVER seen at a hotel. At the La Quinta you will be told that they are out of soap! How can a hotel be out of soap??????????? I like to wash my hands after going to the bathroom. Bad, bad move La Quinta. Also, the parking is horrible!! It's so tight that many people park over the lines therefore taking up 2 spaces. We had to park on the other side of the motel and walk around. And then walk up steps to our room. Oh, and the bathrooms are miniscule!!! The only time I was in a bathroom that tiny was on a cruiseship. Really.......don't bother with this place. Yes, the front desk is very nice but you don't spend your time there at the front desk. The rest of it is just not worth it.

"I can say that my stay here was enjoyable. I was traveling with my mother and 7yr old son. The room ( 2 bed ) was spacious, but the bathroom was a bit small. Would have been better to seal the entire bathroom area with like a sliding door of some sort. The breakfast was very helpful & good. Everything seemed fresh and met the needs of all of us. We were unable to use the pool the first 2 days due to rain, the roomservice along with the staff were helpful and great."

the front desk person was not as accomodating. She just showed us where the room is. no mention about breakfast time, best places to go or stuffs locals tell a newcomer about their place.

The young lady on duty the first day was very pleasant. The rest of the staff was not. The bathtub drained very slowly. Missing iron. This was a motel, not a hotel.

"This is definetely the best hotel I have stayed in for quite some time. I have stayed in a few different hotels in other states but, this is by far the best. xyz, the front desk girl was the best. The continental breakfast was excellant. They had everything you could think of. The day we were leaving, breakfast was ready at 2:00 AM- could't believe it. GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!! WOULD STAY AGAIN!!! LLNJ"
