Date of Stay:

Have used this hotel at least once a week for the pass three weeks having anywhere from one to three rooms. I was really surprised how nice it is and how friendly the staff are, great job!
Date of Stay:
March, 2009
The carpets were wet. The bathroom tile was waxed and slick. The room felt dirty.
Date of Stay:
October, 2007
We were put in a room where it was obviously not ready for guests (bugs on the floor, bleach in the tub). They moved us when we complained but the hotel itself was nothing special. I don't think I will ever stay at a La Quinta again.

It was a pleasant stay. The room was very clean and the bed was large and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. I had a little difficulty finding my room because the numbers on the walls of the building were small and difficult for an old guy like me to read from my car window.

Hotel staff and management were very helpful with locations of local food and stores. They were extremely polite and helpful with everything. The surrounding neighborhood was not a safe place to be walking in( druggie types-hookers). See preceeding.

Hotel common area was dirty, Room was dirty and smelled of smoke, which was a no smoking room. Room 3 door down from my room had the front window glass broken out that night Poor hotel for a La Quinta. Stayed at another La Quinta the following night and it was great.

Had three rooms stay was for two nights. The staff was really friendly and tried to correct any problems we had even doing things personally. Great location for having to be close to UAMS and Childrens hospital as we did. Would stay again and tell my friends.

Location andgreat pool. Neighborhood. This is a good place for travelers on a budget that still want a clean place to sleep and enjoy a swim.

Very convenient location, just off the expressway. Very friendly and helpful employees. Very clean rooms and pool.

Fair run-down part of town (even for Little Rock) and the local ambulance company runs a vehicle in/out the parking. I guess it works for thre locals when they need fast service and thre company ambulance co. doesn't need real building - but it was a bit noisey

Very comfortable. Outside security lighting was disabled. Ice machine was broken. A very romantic evening for my wife and I. No complaints about the room or service. However, we did have some concerns about security. The security lights were broken or disabled. Thus our car was parked in the dark. The out door ice machine was broken. Learned the next morning they had an indoor ice machine. The waffle maker was wonderful. Very cozy. Other than the security lights and ice, all was excellent. Will stay there again next time in Little Rock.

We receive a small discountwhen in town for medical reasons. The motel is nearthe medical district But you might catch something from the slick bath room floors and th slick tub...wear disposalblefoot wear when walking around the room and bathroom.

First there was the staff person who hardly looked up when I walked in. Got to the room and on the floor was a dead roach---a BIG dead roach. The location is next to a gas station/convenience store. Young men loitering, talking loud and were drinking out of paper bags holding cans or bottles. In almost every case I know of this it is usually alcohol. Then there were the scantily dressed women near the pay telephones. Enough said.

I liked the location as compared to the hospital that my granddaughter was staying. Not real bright and cheerful as far as decor. The hotel was and the location was very good. I had to visit my infant grand daughter at the Children's Hospital and this hotel was very close to where I spent my time.

restaurant that is supposed to be on grounds has been closed for over a year. curtains don't close and during our 2 week stay, the internet only worked occasionally. staff was competent, but not helpful. i would keep looking.

When i cheched in all was well. However at 6am i got woken to someone trying to get into my room. I told the person at the desk what happened and they had given my room key to somone else. good thing for the security lock on the door or it could have been real bad.

Breakfasts were yummy. Loud drunk construction workers right next door. This hotel was pleasing , I enjoyed the breakfasts and the staff was very nice. Wonderful!

"The LaQuinta Inn at Fair Park, while conveniently close to U.A.M.S., is not close to restaurants, is beginning to show it's age, and needs repairs and updating. As an overnight stay, it wouldn't be too bad but I wouldn't want to spend several days there."

Very questionable part of town. The entry/exit door to the second flood on the north side was in extreme disrepair, it was totally unconnected at the hinges at the top of the door and banged very loudly every time it shut. Our first room was impossible to get into, the door keys did not work, either for us or for the hotel staff, even with a master key. They did move us to a new room which was satisfactory. One positive was the ice machine could not be accessed unless with a room key, which meant there was actually ice in it.
Date of Stay:

The Employees were polite. Dirty. The area was questionable. We had a mystery red stain on the carpet in between beds, bathroom was dirty- hair everywhere, floors not mopped for a while. We avoided the Continental Breakfast once we saw the state of the lobby and it's floors.
