When visiting family in the area this was a great choice due its location right off the highway and making it an easy drive to many attractions. It was clean and comfortable and in walking distance to a mall and various restaurants.

The location being so close to the interstate and shopping areas. Wish there was a microwave in the room. My girlfriend and I overall enjoyed our stay at La Quinta. Nothing fancy here but if you are just staying for a couple nights it is ideal.

While the rooms were clean, the overall feeling of this hotel is one of non-maintenance. We picked this hotel for the fitness center which was a joke. Most of the equipment did not work at all. The beds were substandard and not very comfortable despite the national advertisement of comfy beds. The ice machine did not work ... someone plugged it in the second day and it leaked all over the floor and area it sat in. Unless maintenance issues resolved, not sure I would stay at this location again. This is not typical for most LaQuinta hotels and we were disappointed with the condition of this location.

This is agreat place to stay if you have things to do in North Seattle. Close to the Alderwood mall and entertainment complex. Quiet and clean.

The front office staff was friendly and efficient. Everything was to my satisfaction with one exception: I noticed a guest with 2 small dogs going into a room on the 3rd floor when I had been assured by the front office that pets were allowed only on the 1st floor. The elevator smelled a little dirty to my extra-sensitive nose.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The kids really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We will stay there the next time we are in the area.

Found the morning free breakfast a delight and very well stocked. The dining room area maintained for same was kept clean by the friendly assigned representative. The free coffee and tea available 24 hours each day -- just plain excellent.

Convenient location close to RTP. Dirty run down and smelly. The hallways smelled very musty and were hot - despite the profusion of overworked wall-mounted air conditioners. The bed was hard as a rock and despite being a non-smoking room, wreaked of cigarettes. Check-in was difficult, as their computer, copier and phone was down; and I had to return to the lobby the next morning to complete check-in. I didn't even bother to look for a breakfast since there were a few reputable restaurants across the street.

"The front lobby looks great, but then it's downhill from then on, the elevator looks run down, the hallway looks like rundown apartment buildings, the non-smoking floor is a joke, it smells like it's been a smokng floor for the last 30 years! The room smell of mildew. The room looks cheap and worn. "

Love the Jacuzzi suite and access to pool. The pillows smell like dog. Overall I really enjoy this hotel. Breakfast is good, has a pool and gym, convenient location, nice staff, price good, I always stay in the Jacuzzi suite. I don't mind animals at all. But the pillows smelled like dog.

"This hotel provided us with a comfortable and pleasant experience. The staff was accomodating, the rooms were clean and well ventilated, and breakfast was great. We will stay there again in the future. Reasonable price, too."

Great having the complimentary breakfast. Food was good and made for a quick and easy breakfast. Hotel was centrally located to great restaurants, the mall, the freeway, and a short drive to Seattle and the Sound. Our child is in a wheelchair, so it was a tight fit in the room, but doable for the money. We were very pleased with our stay and would recommend this hotel to other families.

Indoor pool. Mold in the shower, smoky smell in rooms and stairwells. Convenient continental breakfast when you have young children. Indoor pool was fun. Breakfast worker was very friendly, desk staff moderately friendly. Lack of cleanliness and smoky smell throughout facility was big drawback, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The first room they put us in smelled horrible. We refused to stay there so they gave us another room which was fine. They had a large group of high school students staying and not enough food at the breakfast bar, but otherwise it was fine.

The room was very comfortable and was well furnished. The general appearance and common areas were fairly run down. Generally, a good stay for the price. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel is close to many things. The refrigerator in the room was handy, and we were able to microwave store bought items in the breakfast area off the lobby.

Good sized room for a family. The decoration was drab. This was a reasonably priced hotel for the area but certainly lacked any luxury. The breakfast area was very cramped and busy. There was a good selection of the usual continental breakfast. Towels were not readily available at the pool which was inconvenient.

Location. Breakfast room is too small for the size of the hotel. I had a very poor experience. They did not have a room for me even though I called the day before to confirm. I ended up being sent to a different hotel. I stayed at La Quinta the second night and was disappointed. It has not been maintained well. The rooms need updating and repair.

Excellent customer service, new clean carpet in room. Pets were seen in breakfast dining area. Great customer service. Not sure if new manager or not, but she went over and beyond to help us locate a store we were looking for, brought my wife and I water while waiting to check in. She was always asking us if everything was ok etc, if our room was ok5 stars for this person on June 22/07.
