The room was very clean and quiet enough. There were some maintenance issues around the tub.

Easy access, right on way south. Key access on outside door did not work.

Positive impression when first walking into the room. Bed, furniture, carpeting and bathroom are clean and modern. Hallways are carpeted and clean. Desk and housekeeping staff very professional and friendly. Excellent (in our opinon) continental breakfast. Fresh fruit and cold or hot cereal are available along with bagels, toast, make your own hot waffles, yogert (various flavors) & big muffins (individually sealed). The hours are convenient: 6-9 M-F, and 6-10 weekends. If you're a tv watcher, a big downside is that there is only a small selection of cable channels. If you don't mind paying to buy a movie, they seem to have a good selection of recent releases. If you bring your own movies, you're out of luck. The room TVs are modified so that you cannot connect your camcorder, digital camera or portable dvd player for on screen viewing. This has something to do with interfering with the pay per view movie access. Plenty of electrical outlets in the room, and solid internet access, either wired or wireless. Plenty of ice machines in building. If you need to go to downtown Lexington, this LaQuinta is just off Newtown Pike, which is a straight shot (about a 5 minute drive) to the west end of downtown.

This hotel was shabby on the outside. The room seemed okay at first but when I pulled the covers back I found hairs on the covers, the sheets were stained and the beds felt covered in sand. The toilets were hard to flush. I had to hold the handle down to get it to flush and the cold water was almost impossible to turn on. The garbage cans did not have bags in them and the coffee pot was dirty. On the hotel website they said they had a large continental breakfast and the staff would make you a fresh waffle. That is a LIE. They only had a few choices for breakfast and the staff did not help with the waffles. In fact, the staff yelled at me because I didn't turn the waffle maker the correct way. I tried to ask for help as I had just recently had surgery and was trying to make a waffle with one hand. Also, the hallways are not lit well and the ice machine is not in a great location.

The room was very nice. The pool was closed. Great room. Clean and well appointed. Good location near Cracker Barrel rest.

The rooms here are horrible and dirty. The bedding was stained. There was mold and stains on the ceilings and in bathtub. The closet was missing knobs. The TV/remote didn't work. We tried calling the front desk one evening and no one ever did answer the phone. After we discovered bedbugs in our room (we showed the desk clerk), the only compensation the manager Greg would give us was a free night for a different date. He didn't seem to care about what we went through but was concerned that he wouldn't be able to rent the room for several months. He basically laughed the entire situation off. This hotel should be closed down!

The hotel is very close to the interstate and does not have good sound proofing in the rooms. We slept very poorly due to noise from other people staying at the hotel and truck noise from the highway. Everything had a look of being kind of shabby and not very well maintained. The ice machine sounded like it was in our room instead of down the hall. we had to fiddle with the TV power cord and plug it into another outlet in order to get it to work. On the plus side they did have a nice breakfast with bagels, muffins, cereal and fresh fruit all available. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom while not filthy wasn't exceptionally clean either. We have ccertainly stayed in much nicer hotels that are in the same price range.

I think it offered good amenities for the value! The bathrooms were very cramped and small. Otherwise, not bad for the money. This is a decent hotel for any traveler looking for moderate amenities and cleanliness! It offered a complimentary breakfast and had movies and video games in the room. Also hairs dryer, coffee maker, iron etc. Not a super 8 and not a Hilton!

This was okay for a stopover but an extended stay would be to much. The beds and room were SMALL. The price was about right for the room.

I thought the motel could have been cleaner. One room had black spots around the bathtub. Just the appearance in general did not give us a good feeling.Staff was great! Really nice people

Good, basic room included work table and chairs. Iron & ironing board stored in closet also came in handy. Complementary breakfast had decent range of choices, including fresh waffles. Cracker Barrel, Waffle House, and McDonald's restaurants also within walking distance. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Breakfast included. Mold in bathroom, leaking tub faucet, dust on the six panel doors the bedding generally old and worn out. This hotel while was nice in its day. Its day is past. Nice 1 star hotel

The helpful staff and excellent breakfast bar! The location was a little out of the way,. An excellent place for young families to enjoy a safe, clean visit!

Conveniently located near Kentucky Horsepark and campus. Inconvenient layout.

Very nice manager. Room smelled like rotten eggs, a dog crapped in the hall outside our door. We got the worst room they had because it was sold out. The management was very nice and tried to solve the odor problem with a spray which 1/2 worked. They allowed people with dogs to stay. Saturday night, one of them "messed" in front our door. Enough said.

The location was very convenient. Noises from outside the room were heard easily. The location was good for a passing by traveler. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall cleanliness was just ok. Rooms were not very quiet. Closing doors, cars starting, and people talking in the hall were all easily heard from within the room. Overall met my expectation for the price I paid.

Quiet. Cleaning less than desirable. Coffee maker had not been cleaned. Second time staying here. First time, I had my dog with me so I didn't expect too much. This time was on business without dog and things didn't improve. Beds sag and room wasn't cleaned very well.
