Good value for the money
Date of Stay:

The room was pretty clean and the bed was comfortable. The landscape seemed a little outdated and old. The room seemed pretty clean when we arrived and the beds was comfortable. Wasn't many cable channels to watch could've been more. The landscaping seemed a little outdated and old. There was a maintenance man there on our last day mowing the grass and he threw grass clippings all over our vehicle. But overall we had a pretty good experience. The price was pretty inexpensive.

Although the hotel is older, it was being totally renovated. We paid only 63 per night. The manager called and asked if everything was okay. The breakfast was very good with a nice selection. The motel staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfy. My only minor complaint was that the housekeeping staff turned off the air conditioner while we were gone and the room was sweltering when we got back. It took a while to get cool.

Of the hotels in that area, it was the best.

Convenient. No internet, cigarette holes in blanket, very old seedy place. Old and seedy.
Date of Stay:
March, 2007
Hotel was more or less clean. Location is terrible-not close to anything. Lots of dangerous looking types around. Hotel is getting up in years and could use better security as well as refresh in rooms..

We arrived at the hotel around 1 pm - I went in and was initially ignored then told very matter-if-factly that check-in is at 3 o'clock. There was no offer of keeping our bags or trying to accommodate us. The next morning when we asked where we could get begnets (New Orleans is famous for them) the girl had no idea what we were talking about but the young man at the desk directed us to a restaurant. The room was very nice. I loved the pillows which were plentiful.

Nothing. It was old, and not what the pictures showed. The staff was nice, but the spider crawling on me awaking me from my nap was horrible.

All room open to outside. Cigarette burns on tub. Hotel needs renovation - all furniture and carpet were well-worn. Room was not clean. Breakfast was OK.

Convenient, air conditioning was excellent. Two of the three nights were marred due to party revelers that partied from midnight to early morning 4 am. With the exception of at least two rooms of wild guests, the motel and room was clean, and pleasant which is most important. I will say that I always stay at a Quinta Inn and this one while not bad was the least of all my Quinta Inn stays.

Nice clean room, friendly and professional staff. Breakfast was fresh, clean and great. I would definitely stay here again.

Lighting was good and I like parking next to my room. The carpet left black residue on my feet. The hotel is conveniently located next to restaurants and shopping. Lobby staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. I was impressed by the quietness of the HVAC system, it kept me comfortable as well as being very quiet.

Free internet and parking, later checkout. Room smelled nauseatingly strong of stale smoke. Clean, basic no frills accommodation with continental breakfast, free internet and parking.
Date of Stay:
February, 2009
No hot water, mattress like concrete, bkfst area tight Didn't have hot water in shower, mattresses were dipped and hard. Continental breakfast was nice but the area was tight to walk through-too many tables & chairs squeezed in a small area. People kept banging into each other or the table or chair. Table legs didn't fit well with chair-scoot chair in and it was interfering with table leg. Room decor was very nice-recently renovated.

The room was full of light and airy. I enjoyed my stay there and will use it again and again on my trips to Lafayette.

Ease of checkin and checkout. Wake up call was 15 minutes late. It was a good location and good parking near the rooms. Great temperature moderation for the whole room. They did have an inadequate amount of electrical sockets, even for the standard room lighting, TV, and clocks, some of the items were unplugged to have others plugged in.

I only had to kill one roach. Did not feel safe. Hotel was terrible. They first put me next to the laundry, which was too noisy with blaring Mexican music. then they put me in a room in which the door was warped, but at least the lock would engage. Glad my truck was still there in the morning.

The staff was very helpful. Wouldn't go into the bathroom without shoes.

Convenience and price. Difficult to find. Met expectations for a quick overnight stay.

The staff was friendly. Poorly kept, outdated. You shouldnt put lipstick on a pig. Paint will not help the quality of this hotel. I expected a lot more from the LaQuinta chain, as my experience with the I10/Northshore location in Houston was great but this was not even in the same class.
