When we arrived my initial response was that the staff was very nice. However, when we entered the room, it was very SMOKEY and not very clean. There were also cigarette burns all over the bathtub. I did not feel comfortable walking around the room without shoes on. In addition, the beds were extremely uncomfortable. They also advertise that they provide a microwave and refrigerators...neither were in the room. We were there for one night but we are certain we will not return to this La Quinta for our next visit even though the price was affordable. I have to say, the price was the only positive thing about the trip.

Great waffles in the shape of Texas. The La Quinta was a very nice place to stay, the pool was clean and refreshing.

Beds had brand new linens and mattress was great. Room appeared to be newly remodeled. Shower/toilet area was way too small. Floor not as clean as rest of room. Needs a fan. Great deal. Thanks Priceline!

Good breakfast. Rooms smelled bad. Room was within a couple feet of back door of a restaurant and delivery trucks were very loud all day and into the night. Room smelled very bad and was not vacuumed after last tenant. Many rooms were available on other side of office where it was quiet but we were not given a choice.

Everything. I was given a room facing a brick wall on the entrance side. There were no other windows. Cigarette stains and smells all over bathroom fixtures. The staff was totally unresponsive. The back side of the motel was filled with Ike victims. The front side was filled with contractors repairing the damage from Ike. The contractors drove large company trucks; and often parked inappropriately. I was blocked several times, and had to wait or crawl over the center column to get to the driver's seat.

Very clean. Neat and nice all around. The parking. I would recommend this Motel it is a close drive to Kemah, It is very close to a park and fishing!

The breakfast was good. The pool is large. The room smelled bad. It was very small. It was ok for one night. The room is very small, it smelled bad. The pool was large, but murky. We heard from a local that the hotel had problems when the hurricane victims stayed there causing the hotel to totally redo their rooms. It was fine for one night, but we won't likely be back. The price was very good though.

Beds were comfortable, quiet. Small bathroom, no coffee in coffee pot at front desk. Good place to relax. And get good sleep after a long day traveling.

Everything! This hotel was horrible! Non smoking rooms still smelled like smoke! They moved us to another room that smelt of mildew! Third move was just as bad so I went to walmart to buy sir freshners and candles! Do not recommend!

The pool real was nice for our son to swim and us to relax. Great location for boating and fishing the local beach was less than a 5 minute drive. No elevator. This is a family friendly place. The rooms were clean. I will stay again with my husband and son. The staff was great helping me with anything we needed even direction and recommending a place to eat. The big bonus for us it was close to a public beach with boating and fishing. We had a great time fishing.

Very clean and staff was very nice. For a two star hotel, La Quinta La Porte was wonderful. Clean rooms, felt secure, easy access in and out of hotel parking lot; and breakfast.

Very easy to get to. Staff friendly. We got a smoker room even after we called and confirmed we would be able to get a non-smoking room. Very clean. Easy access to interstate. Affordable. The breakfast was great.

Nothing, would not recommend it. The smell, staff attitude, hard mattress. Needs to be reclassified to 1 star or lower. I've been in other laquinta's this is not the same standard. Very low class. A partial refund would not be out of line.
