Only problem was the traffic noise and not being able to turn off air conditioner. This problem was solved by unplugging air conditioner. Unable to solve traffic noise.

Rooms was nice and updated. It looked like a motel. The hotel as very outdated I was very disappointed in the style of the hotel I could have stayed a motel 6 and it would look better most La Quinta Inn that I have seen look alot better then this one I really wanted my money back.

I stayed at the La Quinta Inn at Greenway Plaza during the weekend of Hurricane Ike. I found the staff to be very helpful, and in good humor for the duration of my stay. The room was mildly humid, but I believe that this is more inherent to the city of Houston, than the hotel itself.

i was placed outside the hotel in a room that was at the end of the courtyard and at 3:00 a.m. Saturday Morning the power went out in the room i had to walk up the courtyard passed the pool and into the hotel itself, by myself i was traveling alone and i spoke with x at the front desk who said he couldn't fix the electrical problem in that room and left me with a flashlight offered no assistance and when i asked for some he said he had to go back to the main lobby he was the only one there to take care of phones and customers. i had to pack in the dark move everything inside the hotel to the third floor and once settled had to request a wake up call which again x forgot about its a good thing i had a friend call me or i would still be asleep. never would i stay there it was horrible gangs hung in the lobby that didn't belong there.

This hotel is rather run down and shabby, especially for this chain. We have stayed in other La Quintas & been satisfied, so we chose this one for the location. The elevator did not work and because 2 of us were using canes we had to take a 1st floor room, all of which open directly into the parking lot. This is not the best option in this neighborhood. Our request for non-smoking didn't go through and there was quite a wait while a "clean" room was located. We checked in at 7:30pm & the hotel was not at all full, so this was surprising. The night clerk was very pleasant and helpful and was the best part of our stay. The room had no hot water, microwave or mini fridge. The breakfast was nice, but on our 2nd am all the milk was sour. We opened 3 cartons and couldn't let our 5 yr. old have any of them. If I hadn't prepaid through Orbitz we would have left after 1 night.

Staff is always available. Had to kill a tree roach in the room. Heard surround traffic. Much older hotel. Pool area is very quiet and serene. Staff very friendly and helpful.

First room not made up at 7pm, second one no A?C working. Then no more NS rooms so had to endure smoking one since prepaid with you couldn't go to another place. Old and needs HELP!"

The La Quinta Inn was comfortable. I really liked that it had a small refrigerator with freezer and a microwave for our use. I also enjoyed that there was a washer and dryer available for use (for a small fee of course). Location was short drive to area attractions. Had a good selection for breakfast, most 'contienental breakfasts' don't include waffels, yogart and hard boile eggs. We were able to eat breakfast everyday at this hotel, which saved us money. Restaurants were close and local grocery stores as well.

Mini appliances, WiFi, pet friendly. I was glad to find out that the room had a mini fridge and microwave at no additional charge, since dinning out for meals while traveling is a must. I was also traveling with a 3 month old puppy and was able to take the dog into the hotel room with me. Overall Satisfied!

This Hotel was outdated. From the minute you drive up it looks like it is in need of a paint job. when you walk into the lobby, its kind of cramped and the combination lobby/breakfast area looks thrown together. The room- from the bathroom to the TV, the rooms need a make over. The AC didn't work-not a good thing to happen. The Room was not only hot, but musty smelling. When I returned home, my clothes felt wet because of the humidity in the room. Ill choose another hotel next time.

This hotel was conveniently located for our business in Houston and easy to find. The service by the staff was excellent and extremely helpful. The accomodations were excellent for the price and made for an excellent stay. Loads of restaurants nearby and plenty of shopping opportunities also. We will visit there again the next time we go to Houston.

The room and the stay were fine but I felt check in and accuaracy were not good. The room was nice and clean with all the amenities--a suite in fact.

Clean Out of the way The rooms are cleaned at the schedule of the hotel, not upon request. It is clean but out of the way. I will never go back if I can help it.

Upon arrival to my room, my door was open. This place is a dump. When I arrived, the door to my room was open. It was moderately clean but my room was right on the highway. It took a long time for the shower to get hot. It is not a restful place and I would never stay there again.

The entryway was clean and inviting, as was the hotel staff. The halls were dark, dingy and stinky, as were the elevators and rooms. Good hotel for the price, however, I would not want to take my family here. The entryway was well lit, clean and inviting. However, the rooms, elevators and halls smelled terribly of cigarette smoke and dirty people.

It was close to facility where our meeting was. Stairs, no microwave or refrigerator. Front desk girl was very unprofessional. It met my needs as far as location. It was clean, needed elevator. There was no inside rooms available. It was all fine though for one night.
