The staff was very nice but the room was so dirty when we checked in. You could tell they did not vaccum or sweep and mop. The shower head was coming out of the wall and the water never stayed the same temperature during a shower. I will not stay there again!

Friendly staff. The staff were gracious & friendly.

The hotel had attractive rooms. The location was great-near my conference site, near several restaurants and shopping, and basic needs like drug stores, etc. The staff was friendly and always eager to say "hi" or lend a helping hand. The only drawback was a necessary remodeling of the shower/toilet room. I also had inconsistency with the water temperature. The shower curtain looked like it needed to be rinsed off a little. The continental breakfast was average, but convenient. Overall, it was a good deal for the price and I would stay there again.

Unfortunalty I stayed at this La Quinta over a long weekend. I would have liked to know these few things before booking my room there. 1. Customer service is malaise with no pretense of apology. 2. smoking rooms are not aired out ( I went thru a whole can of fabreeze) 3. this hotel is across from a tatoo place/biker bar. The only nice thing I can say is that the cleaning staff are warm and provide 1st class service.. And yet the place was booked - so to each their own.

Everything was fine with the La Quinta I-40. There is a tiny Denny's conveniently located in the parking lot which was nice to go to at Midnight. The only problem was getting into the area due to the construction at the San Mateo exit.

Tired building. Needed outside repair. Stairs loose, paint peeling.

The good:La Quinta is very pet friendly, the room was extremely clean, and there were no surprises. The bad:The temperature of the water in the shower went from scalding hot to icy cold and the pressure was extremely poor; the continental breakfast was non-existent with 45 minutes to go. The area of town seems somewhat industrial. In all it was a good value to stay for one night (on the way to someplace else - this would not be a destination hotel, but what do you expect for about 50 a night?))

Upon Arrival, which was at 10pm,I had noticed Major Road Construction in this location. Upon request, I was also able to be placed in a lower level room, as my companion was unable to use the stairs to reach a second floor room. The Room was clean, with fresh coffee and towels awaiting me. For the price, I was very suprised, and I was very pleased. Fresh Fruit, uffins and juice were served for breakfast. Kind of sorry to see there was no Newspaper to read. A New York Times, WSJ, or even a USA Today would have made for a very nice experience, I highly recommend a stay at this Inn if you are in the Albuquerque area.

The hotel staff was very helpful. The shower was really bad and the pool was closed. All and all this hotel was good. It was for sure worth the money. Breakfast was very sparse. There were two types of bagels, two types of muffins, juice and coffee. Also the line for the toaster was unbelievable. Also, the shower had a horrible shower head that wouldn't allow but two small streams of water to come out. When we called about it, they said there was nothing they could do. But, with all of this, the hotel was quite affordable. It allowed pets as well so we could bring our guinea pigs.

The room was fairly clean but the hotel is sadly in need of rennovation. The bathroom caulk was old & moldy. The sheets were threadbare & the mattress was very uncomfortable.

Staff was pleasant and accomodatin. Rooms looked decent but turned out to be dirty. In addition to being in a noisy and in a fairly unpleasant area by the freeway which seemed a bit sketchy, the sheets had strange hairs and were dirty and their was no hot water to shower in the morning so I had to take an ice cold shower. I expect more from La Quinta. this one needs to invest in better soundproof windows, get better cleaning staff, and work on their basic infrastructure. Try a different location in Albuquerque.

For the cost, this is a good value. The rooms were quite and clean. Great location, right next to the freeway and plenty of choices of restaurants nearby.

Made confirmed reservations at this property via the internet well in advance and we had planned on staying a week. Upon arrival after 3 pm, we were given keys and when we entered room, it had not been cleaned from previous guest. Returned to desk clerk who called housekeeping to clean the room as we waited in lobby. We were not offered a different room. 45 minutes later the same desk clerk asked us why we were waiting in the lobby. Clerk called housekeeping again, room still hadn't been cleaned. We cancelled our stay at that point and found different hotel. Will not stay at a La Quinta again.

The location of this facility allowed me access to the NE Heights, the Valley and the Westside easily, as I had business all over town.

The La Quinta, was very nice and clean, with a great location to all in town. The room was nice in size, with internet service. Nice eating location close by. It was in short driving distash to about every where we wanted to go. Good eating location close by also. Altho the smoke alarm went off three times while taking a shower, and was never fixed while we were there. The TV remote had to be replace. The help did not know much about the area, so could not tell us directions to many place's. All and all was a nice place and would most likely stay again.

Easy access to Veterans Hospital. We had trouble adjusting water temperature in shower. Nice, clean motel that we would use again.

I had stayed at the La quinta in phoenix which is why i chose this chain for my trip to albuqueruqe. The neighborhood was not the greatest one and my hotel room was supposed to be a non smoking room, but had quite an unpleasant smell, It is a fairly old hotel and the over all cleanliness was not what i had expected. I am glad i only had to stay there one night. There are a few shopping options around but nothing extraordinary, dining is very limited, i like local places but there were more chain restaurants.
