requested non-smoking. was given a smoker's room. did not complain. abut 3 a.m. an argument ensued in room next to us. called the front desk. they did nothing. argument continued. feared for the safety of daughter and i. called front desk. we were then moved into another room.

Helpful staff, clean room. Bad bug problem, dated and worn furnishings. Rooms were very clean, but I can't recommend staying at this hotel unless they solve their bug problem.

Friendly people. Low quality of construction and upkeep. My room was rather noisy being next to an ice machine. Continental breakfast was OK but nothing to write home about.

The hotel must have been a converted Motel 6; the floor felt like we would fall through to the first floor, hot water constantly ran into the tub, it was brought to the attention of the hotel staff but never fixed, toilet wouldn't flush without holding the handle for two minutes. They did respond fairly quickly when the batteries died on the door lock to let us in. The continental breakfast is very minimal compared to other La Quinta's I have stayed at. Overall, this franchise doesn't match the same quality I have experienced and expected from the hotel chain. We would have left, but my wife was upset we would loose our prepaid money. We will stay at a better place next time. BTW, we were afraid to sleep under the covers and went out and bought our own sheets and blankets in order to sleep.

Desk clerks were most accomodating and helpful as I dealt with air travel problems that threatened to cancel my visit entirely. Once cleared for take off, they were assuring and understanding of my extremely late arrival.

Easy access from interstate. Smelt like smoke, very thin sheets. This hotel was adequate for our needs for one night passing through town. The first room we were given, air didn't work. Second room air worked well but smelt like smoke. We settled for the room because it was late and we were tired. Overall the room was clean. The sheets appeared to be worn out and pretty thin, but clean. Compared to other hotels in the area that are 2 star, this really should have been a 1 star. I have stayed in a couple other hotels in the same area that were 2 star and were much nicer.

Our room was adequate for our needs as we were there on business, the front desk was friendly and very accomodating, housekeeping was excellent, these girls were right on top of all our needs and very helpful..

This hotel is in need of an update. We have stayed at La Quinta many times but the hotel did not exhibit the same quality. The breakfast did not include the waffle maker we are used to and lacked in space and presentation. The bathroom was in need of repair and the outside door to our room had an opening at the bottom when closed.

I have stayed at this La Quinta several times because of its location. The rooms were comfortable and the air conditioner was very efficient which is important to me since it is close to UNT. The pool was not very clean, but that is not important to me except that it was unsightly. The free breakfast had a limited selection. I appreciated the coffee maker in the room.

Location to University of North Texas. Non smoking room smelled very Smokey.

This La Quinta was showing its age. The continental breakfast was a little below par and the eating area small. We did not eat there.

The check in process was completed and key in hand within 5 minutes of our arrival. The staff was professional and very courteous. The room was spacious and the layout of the room allowed somewhat personal sitting areas for the children to play at the table and adults to work and watch t.v. The motel was full with several sports teams so I expected loud children and rowdiness outside the rooms throughout the night; however was pleasantly surprised at how quiet our room was and the fact that the staff kept everyone quiet throughout the evening.

The continental breakfast. You have to walk too far to find the ice machine.

I found the hotel to be very nice. Everything was neat & clean, the personel very friendly & cooperative. The only slight negative that I found was that the air conditioning was not quite cool enough. I would stay at this La Quinta again when in the Denton area.

I liked the wireless internet and the location of the hotel. The beds were hard. This hotel is very adequate. The pool looked like a nice pool.

I stayed at the La Quinta for three nights recently and it was okay -- no better, no worse. It was relatively inexpensive, and the location is very convenient to the freeway and UNT. The decor is somewhat dated (or is seemed so to me), but I was not there for the ambiance. The breakfast was modest with celo-wrapped muffins, frozen waffles, cereal and such, but the area was clean and the hotel folks were pleasant. While wireless Internet service was included, it proved to be very inconsistent. Sometimes it worked fine, but other times (probably 50% of the time) I was able to connect to the hotel's wireless router, but unable to get to any web pages. My guess: not enough bandwidth to share. If reliable Internet access during your stay is important for you, this might not be the place.

Clean and inexpensive, friendly staff, and close to freeway entrance. The drunken people, at 3 in the morning, were throwing up outside my door. Door very drafty. It is nothing fancy, but it was clean, had good service and was conveniently located. My only complaints were the cold draft coming under the door that I solved with a towel and the noisy people coming home from the bars at 3 a.m. on Friday night. I didn't complain to management, so I don't know how they would have responded. I would stay there again.

Very clean, very friendly staff, great breakfast. Felt parking was a bit funny shared with next door restaurant. Great location, great value turn!

Friendly staff. Bird poop on the sidewalk. The hotel was accomodating, close to where we wanted to be. Although the young man on duty was exceptionally friendly and helpful, they were short on staff.

The staff at the front desk were friendly. The beds were very hard! Several of us had back and shoulder problems after 3 nights. The rooms were clean but not very nice.
