At check in, the customer service rep. not helpful. The room smelled like mold. We opened the doors a little bit to air out, still did not help. No other rooms were available when we asked to switch. The bathroom (mostly the toilet) looked like it had not been cleaned.

I had read the reviews and they did not do this hotel justice. The staff was very helpful and made sure that my stay was excellent. The room was larger than I had expected. There is every restaurant you can imagine within 3 miles. There is no security issues BUT do not drive east of the hotel late at night. The neighborhood goes downhill pretty fast until you are east of federal highway (us1).

The hotel was nice for a weekend stay. The only problem I had was bad cell phone reception. you have to go outside to talk and I missed a couple important calls because of the reception or no reception at all.

Very nice swimming pool. Room smelled a little like cigarette smoke. We wanted something decent for our one-night stay; this hotel was just fine for our purposes. It was decent, clean, and well-cared for.

My daughter and I were checking in late at night. We brought our luggage up as we were just coming off a cruise and going to see family in the area. The security guy was 3 feet from the door sitting in his golf cart doing nothing, didn't even offer to get the door for us as our hands were very full. We had to wait for the front desk clerk, finally it was our turn and she gave us the room I reserved, though non-smoking, reaked of cigarrettes. She said it was in the next building over. I asked if it was in walking distance she said yes, but maybe the security guy can just put our luggage in his golf cart and give us a ride over. I would have been estatic and tipped him generously as my daughter and I were exhausted. His reply in a nasty tone..."No, she should have parked closer to the other building then. Nice....

The La Quinta Inn in Deerfield Beach was very comfortable, the room was clean and up to date. Several fast foods restraunts and a few more restraunts withing a mile, Wendy's adjoins the parking lot. The complementary breakfast had cold cereal, instant cereal, hard boiled eggs, bagels, toast and muffins. The staff did a good job of keep it filled up. It within two blocks of the highway and just a few miles from the beach. The olny down point was the pool, it was closed the entire week I stayed, per the sign pending upgrades to a new state law.

Fine breakfast, excellent location for my needs, cleanliness, room size and comfort. Very good for short or longer stays, good breakfast included, rooms are adequately sized and furnished, staff is pleasant and accommodating.

My friends and I rented a double bed room and requested a pull out cot. We checked during the day and we did not return till late at nite, around 2 a.m. Too our suprise there was no pull out bed. And, to top it off they could not service us at that time because their computers were down. So at 3 a.m. my 5 year sleeping daughter and I had to go find another hotel.

The matresses were not of the best quality but worked. I left my bathing suit called to see if it could be sent and have not heard from them, just called again and the lady at the desk was most helpful and is having her manager look into it. I appreciate that kind of service and was disappointed with the first person I spoke with because I heard nothing. The location was perfect for the family outing we were there to attend.

My expectations were not met. Cleanliness was a problem. I didn't feel the room was CLEAN! The towels were terrible. The bed uncomfortable. This was my first stay at a LaQuinta Motel. It will be my last. Just didn't like it. Thanks

in my room. The non-smoking room reeked of smoke, there were cigarette holes in the blankets, the TV remote was missing. The drawers were dirty and had debris. The bathtub was BROWN. Mysterious white stains on the floor and brown stains on the walls. NOT GOOD. Free breakfast was ransacked by a large family.

I went there on a business trip to the area. The La Quinta Inn had a very comfortable bed. There was a desk in the room with internet access and decent sized TV with a game controller. The A/C worked well. From the main road it appeared to be in a nice neighborhood. However, the in-room coffee maker did not work and I notified the front desk. They do have coffee and muffins/cereal in the main lobby. After returning from work on the second day, the bed was made but the trash (muffin wrappers)I accidentally left on the desk was waiting for me. My bad I suppose. The neighborhood immediately north behind the 6'concrete wallappears "depressed" and gets quite loud with "rap" music after the sun sets. There is a security gaurd on duty during nighttime hours. Upon return from work on the third day the shower ceiling began to peel it's paint and drop drywall/plaster on the shower faucetts and into the tub.

The desk clerk was pleasant but understaffed. The stairway and entrance wasdirty. I mentioned this last year and no improvement. When I checked in the carpet in front of the desk needed cleaning. The door to my room appeared that it had been forced open and just painted over. The TV was quite old and the sound kept going off.

The room was very clean we needed to go to the front desk for towels and also the phone was not working beside that, they tried to help in what they could. The lobby had been updated new colors bright an cheery! You could have a nice breakfast and also close to stores. We go there often right of state rd 95 is to get there.
