we were there on business for the day and found the hotel to be very nice, clean and in a good location, we actually decided to stay an extra night..numerous eating establishments in the area..i would stay there again if we have to go back.

I booked this only one night stay due to the airport shuttle service offered. The amenities are way better than advertised..my room had a frig/microwave (not listed as in each room with the booking only as available) so I thought only a coffee maker. Nice pool and Good Spa just not opened late enought to use if your flight lands after 11pm like mine did. This leads to the only problem...shuttle service ONLY RUNS 8am to 4pm Monday-Friday from PIE airport. The cab ride is quick and cost about $7 to $8 after tip. I WILL BE STAYING HERE ANYTIME I GO FOR THE SPRING TRAINING OR ST PETE GRAND PRIX. One of the greatest staffs and superior breakfast...hotels/motels can learn from this one. I went for business on Monday early am then to Treasure Island. When I go back I'd rent a car stay here for a deal $* a night with a FULL BREAKFAST and great Business Trip set up...WIFI worked perfectly.

My stay was great..the staff here went above and beyond..adrianne at thefront desk was so helpfull..u see i lost my cell phone, she helped me locate my friend,and she made numerous long distance calls for me and she helped me to locate all my activities..and helped me find the rest stop where i lost my phone..the room was exactly what i was looking for clean and comfortable and i would definatly stay here again...

Great hotel. Had good rates and a good breakfast with fresh waffles. It is located about 20 minutes from any good beaches, which is not that bad considering the rates of hotels closer. The hotel is located next to an airport and requires a U-turn to turn into the hotel.

I picked this hotel because it was very close to the airport and because of the other reviews I had read. I was traveling alone and had never been to this part of Florida.I as a women felt very safe, the room was very clean,it was very quiet and every one was very friendly. I would go back and stay again.They had a very good spread for breakfast, lots to pick from for a free breakfast.

I stayed here because of all the other positive reviews, and they were right on the money. Check-in was fast, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Easy access from the freeway, and next door to a Bob Evans restaurant. Can't be beat for the money.

We stayed at this same La Quinta about 10 years ago and found it to be clean & serviceable...nothing fancy...that's why we chose it this time. Big mistake! The first room smelled damp continuously, even with the AC running full blast. The bathroom looked like just clean towels were added and the sink wiped out. The tub bottom was very dirty. I bought a cleaner at the local store to spray the tub because there was no way I was getting into it with my bare feet. Both of us coughed throughout the night and became congested. In the morning we saw black mold creeping across the ceiling right above our beds! We didn't notice it the previous day because we just checked in and left...then returned late at night. No wonder we were coughing! We moved to another room, that wasn't as quiet, but was much cleaner by comparison. This room, however, did not have matress pads on the beds, they ran out of towels and we had to call late at night to have them delivered. We also wanted our linens changed, putting the appropriate card on the pillows.....and the bed was just made with the same linens. I was glad we were there for a very short stay....three nights. On a positive note, the staff was helpful in getting us another room. The location is very hard to access, but it's not their fault...it's Florida's highway department that messed up access. Overall....a totally disappointing and somewhat distressing stay! Molds, mildews are very hazardous to respiratory health.

The hotel was really great and the location was great, the breakfast was terrific we were very impressed with every thing, we really like the waffles that we made and liked the machine very much. The pool area was clean and very enjoyable. We would stay in any LaQuinta hotel we were very pleased.

Upon arrival on my weekend the room next to us had a very large dog that kept barking but upon calling the front desk they were more than willing to move rooms for us. The staff was excellent and there are lots of places to eat around the hotel and is within 20 minutes of the beack.

The service was wonderful and the location was perfect for our family. The only complaint we have is that the room smelled strongly of smoke. Good continental breakfast and great pool/hot tub. Would definately recommend and stay here again.

We found the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar was disappointing - Hampton Inns has a much better one. The common areas show the wear and tear of allowing pets, but the room wasn't bad. Our door didn't close completely on its own, and the A/C unit was really loud and woke us up when it clunked on and off. The hot tub was great, and the pool was okay.

Fitness room complete with sauna was a big surprise and a big plus to unwind after work. After 9 pm front desk personnel was not as attentive. Nicest La Quinta I have ever stayed at. The beds were comfortable, the staff was attentive except after 9 pm, it was slow to get their attention at the front desk. The fitness room and attached dry heat sauna was a very nice touch.

This was the worst hotel stay ever! The first room I was in, the sheets were dirty and had stains on them. I complained and was moved to another room were the sheets were dirty, the room smelled like urine, and there were still clothes in the drawers when i got in the room, so obviously the room had not been cleaned and i felt like I was going to get sick. I told staff that this was very unacceptable and I was very dissatisfied and did not recieve an apology. I am writing a letter to headquarters and I dont advise anyone to stay at this hotel. if your looking for something inexpensive there is a Super 8 across the street that has to be cleaner than La Quinta.

I selected this hotel away from downtown tampa, and I was happy with what I got. The hotel is only a stone's throw from the major highways, and has a AMC theater a few blocks away. The hotel was clean, and with the wifi available in the rooms made it easy to catch up on emails after being around town all day. My only issue with the hotel was the run down look of the room, dents in the bathroom door, the broken door knob on the bathroon door, and the worn carpet. The room was Very, Very clean, which made up for the small issues. I would stay at this hotel again.
