The La Quinta Inn Schaumburg is northwest of downtown Chicago, not far from O'Hare International Airport. We are close to many popular attractions, including Arlington International Racetrack, Medieval Times, and the Streets of Woodfield, an exciting retail complex with a mix of urban shops, theaters, clubs, and restaurants. Stay here while visiting area businesses, including the Motorola World Headquarters, Sears, Canon Training school, Zurich America, and Verizon.

The La Quinta Inn Schaumburg has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Spacious rooms come with such amenities as a coffee maker and high-speed Internet. Date of Stay: May, 2009

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. the staff was very friendly and helpful. I especially liked the shuttle service they offer (within a 5 miles radius) which gets you to woodfield mall real quick and to other stores in the area. the rooms were clean and spacious. For the price you pay you get a decent room and a good service. The in the price included breakfast is also good. I would go back anytime again.

The hotel was a great place to stay. It was close to a variety of restaurants, such as Lou Malnati's Pizza, and the Cheesecake Factory. It is conveniently located close to public transportation downtown. The rooms were extremely clean, and the housekeeping staff was most helpful. One of the night clerks, Kim, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and went "the extra mile" to help us with a computer problem that we had using the internet.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The facility was clean and in good repair. Many things are withing walking distance but because of the heavy rain that was out of the question. We wanted to go to LegoLand which was across the street and the hotel shuttle took us and picked us up when we were ready to come back. The continental breakfast was very good with a nice variety of things from which to choose. A free copy of the local paper was delivered to our door daily. The staff was courtious and very helpful.

VERY Comfortable beds! Much nicer than many of the downtown Chicago hotels clean(appeared either new or newly remodeled in March 2009), good service and the rooms are larger than downtown rooms at a third of the price.

Location. Door was not tight and non-smoking room smelled like smoke. Overall ok, staff was friendly and very helpful.

It is always nice and clean! The traffic but weare in Chicago! We stayed there 3 years ago and when we arrived this time, I remembered it as being so nice and clean and very conveniently close to our friend's home.

This hotel was perfect for our needs. We were in town for a funeral. The continental breakfast was handy and if we wanted more, there was a Denny's in walking distance. My husband was able to do his work using the high-speed internet connection.

I got what I paid for with this hotel and was overall satisfied. My only complaint is with the breakfast - the cream for coffee was sour and really curdled my coffee - everything else was pretty mediocre. The room was nice, clean and fairly comfortable beds; plenty of room for a short stay. Bathroom area was clean and private. It was great having both a fastfood and a sitdown restaurant right next door. Close, but not too close, to the highway and within walking distance to a large mall. I would definitely stay there again.

Conveniently located near freeways, malls, restaurants, and area businesses. Needs some updating, painting of rooms and hallways, new common area carpeting. This is a very good hotel for the business traveler or for families. Conveniently located near NW Chicago area businesses and expressways. Safe, neat and clean.

My husband and I were very satisfied with La Quinta during our visit in Chicago. The location was excellent for tollway access and for shopping and dining at Woodfield. The hotel staff were friendly and professional, the hotel was clean and quiet at night. If you are looking for a nice place to lay your head at night minus all the frills - La Quinta is it.

Staff was friendly and efficient. Complimentary breakfast was very good. Room was clean. I forgot a special pillow in the room. When I called the next day, it was located and held at the front desk with my daughter's name on it so she could retrieve it for me. I thought I had probably lost it, but not so! We plan to return to this hotel when we visit Schaumburg again.

It was bright and clean and in an excellent location. the hallways were really long and the windows on the first level open.
