As awlays La Quinta Inns are clean with firendly staff. I stay at La Quinta when traveling for business or fun when they are in the area I plan on being in. Pricign is always reasonable good value for your dollar.

Great continental breakfast, free WiFi, nice staff. Somewhat difficult to find.

Beware of the morning breakfast served. The yogurt served had expired for more than 3 weeks and the manager claims these were just part of a bad restocking check.

Our tour bus group from SW IL stayed here for 4 nights. Our rooms were clean, tastefully decorated and quiet. I appreciated the thoughtful extra touches. We all enjoyed the plentiful choices on the breakfast buffet. The staff was friendly and courteous. The hotel is in quiet surroundings, just a 30 minute drive from down town Chicago. There were 45 of us who agreed that this LaQuinta IInn was an excellent choice made by the tour company.

La Quinta Inn Oakbrook Terrace- Chicago area is a nice hotel near an interesting mall and some nice restaurants. The pool is 5 foot deep at most but looked relaxing. They have a couple treadmills and an stationary bike for the fitness room. Basically it was clean, well located and served it's purpose. My only problem is that the light from the hall could be seen under the door. But all in all a nice quite sleep.

Situated in a good location just one mile West from Oakbrook Center Mall & two miles East from enclosed York Town Mall. Mixed business/residential area just off East/West route and approx 25 miles to downtown Chicago, 20 miles to Midway Airport and 10 miles to Brookfield Zoo. Recently renovated, three floors with lifts. Nice pool area. Good breakfast ample variety, staff always cleaning. Reasonable size room with two double beds, worktable, two easy chairs, TV with limited program selection pay to view offered. The Inn is Pets & family friendly. Free car parking and Internet access. (Other hotels in this area charge $8 per day for parking and without breakfast). This was our first stay at a La Quinta Inn; we booked for 7 nights through an online travel website. Reception offered a choice of rooms plus choice of floors. Our room was clean with plenty of towels, soap, and shampoo. There is an in-room coffee maker. Coffee and tea was also available in the dining room outside the 6 am to 9 am (6 to 10 on Sunday) regular dining hours. Breakfast was better than we had expected but it can get crowded around 7 am, we waited until 8 and had the dining room almost to ourselves. The two double beds had soft mattresses, too soft for my wife and I. Although we used only one bed, housekeeping insisted on changing the sheets. We tried to save on laundry by putting our towels aside for reuse but they were changed daily anyway. There is a Denny?s close by but after eating there once I would recommend you look elsewhere. There is a Pannera Bread Caf? just 3.5 miles on Twenty Second Street. Close by Malls offer a wide choice of casual and fine dining, try the Clubhouse at Oakbrook Center.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this La Quinta, as did my fellow travelers on our tour bus. Rooms were ready and clean when we arrived on day 1, and again every evening when we returned from a day of sightseeing. Especially enjoyed the hearty breakfast buffet. We had newspapers at our door when we awoke. Enjoyed a restful sleep every night, in quiet surroundings. Staff was friendly and accomodating. We were an easy 30 minute drive from down town Chicago.

This hotel was actually much nicer than I had anticipated. While not giant, the two queen-sized bedroom had more than enough space for us. It was a little difficult to navigate around the hotel, the floor plan is a little confusing, but since there are indoor hallways safety was not an issue. There was a mystery stain on the mattress pad of my bed, but I just slept on the other side and fell right asleep. I did not use the pool, but it was clean enough that I would have used it if I had the time. The check in/out staff were very friendly. Overall a very positive experience.

Ok, clean, close to restaurants. Little dated. Good, short drive city, easy to interstate.

I chose this hotel in part because they had a fitness room. Fitness room sign said "open 6am to 10pm", so at 6am I went to the fitness room and started my workout (treadmill run). About 20 minutes later the front desk clerk came in and asked me if I could stop and do it later because she was getting complaints about the noise! And, I got grief about it from another guest, and when I checked out! I told them they need to maintain their equipment (the belt was loose, and treadmill wasn't on a rubber mat).Other complaints: stopper for bathroom sink didn't work and hallways smelled like smoke.

Nothing. Room was not very clean. Major construction around and in hotel, very noisy, water was shut off from 11 pm to 4 am. Gave out room that wasn't clean. Had to go way out of way to use elevator because of contraction. Had to ask for forks, spoons, and napkins at breakfast. Not a good experience.

Hotel was very clean and rooms were quiet because they are solidly built. Was in an upscale, safe neighborhood with many restaurants close by including Olive Garden and Denny's. Staff was friendly and the free parking and expanded breakfast buffet were good. Would highly recommend this bargain priced hotel.

A tidy property in an upscale shopping/commerce area (ie. no nightlife), with friendly staff and rooms that are nicer than expected. Convenient to the expressway (portions toll) for visiting Chicago (30 minutes to downtown, or catch a CTA train about 15 minutes from property). Very quiet! This is a good budget choice for greater Chicago area travelers.

Hotel is located within minutes of shopping in Oakbrook. Would recommend to others. We were not in the hotel other than to sleep.

They had good pillows. Staff was rude, dirty hallways, run down bath room. I was very disappointed in La Quinta.

There are several places nearby for shopping or dinner. The room was clean but the bathroom is small. The daily complimentary breakfast was ok and well organized. Overall good value ...
