The La Quinta Cheyenne is located close to down town, the airport and two major interstate highways, the room was very comfortable, there's a restaurant next door the staff were very friendly and helpful the continental breakfast was a great touch to a early morning start.

This hotel was easy to find and moderately comfortable. The hotel smelled. Every area had a different smell. This hotel was fine for the $. It was comfortable and fairly clean. The room did have a strange smell maybe insecticide. It gave my daughter a headache. I got used to it.

Stayed here several times - It's OK - breakfast is average - room was clean and fairly quiet. Bathroom needs remodeling big time - get new fiberglass tub kits! Perfectly fine for the price - don't expect four star and you'll be fine.

My daughter and I were on a road trip and stayed at this La Quinta. The desk clerk was helpful and directed us into town to try to find a place to eat. The room was poorly maintained, the toilet handle was loose, the tub drained slowly, and the shower curtain was high and blocked most of the light from the single fixture. The overall stay was okay, the continental breakfast was okay.

I was not pleased with the La Quinta in Cheyenne. The first impression was dead flowers in the pots and a boarded up window in the front door. When we went to check in we were greeted with a sign to please be willing to wait 10 minutes while the desk clerk helped another patron. The door facings were in desperate need of painting throughout the building. The hall air freshner was only covering up a stale odor. We were leaving at 6:30am and they didn't serve breakfast until 7 on Saturdays.

The location was convenient. The shower head was broken so was unable to shower. The shower head was broken so we were unable to shower.

I decided to ignore a few of the comments thinking it couldn't be that bad, right? Besides a conference was at my favorite Cheyenne hotel and they were out of rooms. To begin 2 creepy guys were running the front desk of a filthy disgusting hotel. The rooms were old and dirty, the pool had cigarette butts floating in it and was also filthy and in serious direpair. The continental breakfast was of very poor quality. I would rather sleep in my car with 2 kids. Oh and they put us in a pet room without asking (allergies anyone) and we got to listen to a chorus of dog barking all night. Take my advice and stay at Little America. It is across the street and while older it is MUCH nicer also has a huge heated pool.

Professional staff and clean room. No refrigerator or microwave oven in room. I would recommend this hotel.

We were beset with flys in our first floor room. When I told the person at the desk he said simply - oh yes we have alot of flies here too. The morning breakfast had flies too. Coming back we stayed on the second floor and the person at the desk was a little more helpful. The third floor seemed to be a no-fly zone, so it wasn't bad. However, if it had not been too late we probably would have stayed somewhere else.

Staff was helpful. The halls smelled of smoke. Seemed a little seedy. This hotel is feeling it's age. It is right off the highway and I could hear every truck that passed. I cannot say it was not safe but I just did not get a warm fuzzy feeling of safety and I was traveling alone.

Hotel was clean and convenient. A bit pricey--but not bad for Frontier Week. Very easy to get to Frontier Park and downtown.

They allow pets. The beds were small and uncomfortable. I was very frustrated when I called the front desk to ask for new sheets because one of the beds had hair all over it. The receptionist tried to convince me that they had just been changed and then asked if I really needed both beds or if we could just sleep in the other bed! Two adults and a toddler in one twin bed? No!

The continental breakfast was good, it was clean. My husband said his bed was lumpy, mine wasn't.

"A few staff members are friendly, not many. Maid service is hard to get to come. I have to vacuum myself today. I was told ""most people do not need maid service everyday""....this is after leaving tips daily. I have a 2 year old, I left from 9am to 12:30, nothing done, was told they will come when they can and then told I can borrow their vac. to clean...sorry. They make me feel like I am a bother, not a welcoming feeling. "

Provided shelter from the wind. Not conveniently located. Not much more than basic shelter.

"Granted, it is near the train crossing just like most of the hotels in the area. However, they have extra windows and we did not even hear the trains. Stayed at the Days Inn the weekend before and heard the trains all night long. Clean room. Pleasant staff. Did not like the Village Inn at all."

They let us change rooms with no problem. Facilities in room run down, lights not plugged in, dirty bed, stained sheets & tub. The first room we got, the bed was not made well and had hairs in it - cigarette burns in the spread of a non-smoking room. We complained and they changed us to a different room. Both rooms smelled - wasn't sure if it was a urine smell or a bad cleaning solution. The second bed was clean, but not well made, but the sheet was stained some. The lights would not work and it took us some time to figure out if the light bulb was out, but it wasn't plugged in. The tub was stained and the caulk looked dirty. We sprayed the room with an air freshener, but had to use it again the next morning.

It was a nice stay...very welcoming and safer than I thought it would be. would recommend again.

Continental breakfast. Smoking rooms. Good value, this hotel had both rooms but I had to call them to get a non-smoking room. Had continental breakfast which was nice. General appearance was good.

"The hotel itself was adequate, however, the physical location was not good. As indicated by another reviewer, it's situated right across from a rail yard so there's quite a bit of train noise. Additionally, it's within the I-25 cloverleaf exit onto Lincolnway, so you can hear semis downshifting as they come down the exit ramp. "
