I liked the location right in downtown Bishop. The cold showers felt by me and many other guests; couldn't get phone to work. I was expecting quite a bit more than a clerk who couldn't work the water heater nor the phone system.

Fine hotel, right on main street in the thick of things. Just a couple blocks from Starbucks, because La Quinta's coffee is awful. The free breakfast is adequate. Beds were comfy and there is free wifi.

Nice breakfast bar. Side door secure access not latching, upstair room difficult for elderly. Clean, reasonably comfortable beds. Good shower flow.

Our reservation and check-in went very smoothly. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Twenty minutes after our check-in, the front desk called to make sure everything was as expected. We were in the center of town, with plenty of restaurants nearby, and we had free wifi. Additionally, although we were meeting friends for breakfast, there was a free breakfast.

Nice breakfast; plus USA Today newspaper; centrally located; appropriately priced.

Upon arrival, the first room they gave us had not been cleaned or made since the previous occupant. The second room at least was made. but it was double beds, not queens (which we paid for), the TV remote did not work, and there was only one plug by the desk. We went out early to take pictures, without checking out, and when we got back, 2 hours before checkout time, the maid was in the room changing the sheets. The Checkout receipt they gave us was for Travel online, not for me. On it I got to see the last 4 of the Travel online Visa card. And, I got to see that I paid Travel online $30 for the room. (the difference betwen what I paid and what the hotel paid Travel online.) I asked for a receipt for my credit card, and they either would not or could not give me one. The staff person I asked about this was watching TV in the dining room, and was unhappy that I asked her to do Front Desk work. All in all, it was not a great experience, and I would not stay at this La Quinta again. (And, it kind of bugs me to pay Travel online over 30% commission for the room. I am not sure I would use Travel online for booking again...)

Location. Housekeeping makes too much noise in the morning. Parking is good if you have a trailer.

"this is not a ""fancy"" place, but it is clean and comfortable. after a long travel day, it is nice. the beds are comfortable, the room is clean and good sized. breakfast was good, plenty of food, even though they were sold out. bathrooms were small, but then, that was not as important as a good night sleep."

The service and location. NA The hotel was near all the great retaurants and the casino. not to mention, mammoth mtn! the service was excellent as well. Their free breakfast buffet is one of the better ones we've had!

"We stayed here for two days, for me a working vacation. Internet access? Not a chance and no effort to correct the problem. Rooms were large but bathrooms were TEENY TINY. Staff was a joke."

Hotel is brand new, good bed, nice bathroom, good lighting. Phones did not work and staff was clueless as to how I could actually made a local call. Room was on the second floor, an inconvenience for a female. Location is convenient. Infrastructure is new and therefore, good. Parking is insufficient and inconvenient. Young, untrained staff is impersonal and below par. This may not be an issue so long as you remain self sufficient and need nothing from them.

"Good passing through hotel, clean, comfortable. Good value with travel website discount. Internet access didn't work and no one from hotel staff to customer service seemed able or interested in fixing. Best suited for standard, simple short stay."

Location and friendly, helpful staff. Bathroom is very small. Toilet paper holder is positioned back too far from toilet. Hotel had just been redecorated. Decor was pleasing. Room was clean. The bathroom was the only disappointment.

"This hotel was VERY clean, the bed was very comfortable there was a recliner in the room and a desk with computer port, we were very comfortable there. We would recomend this hotel to anyone the only thing they need is a pool or jacuzzi."

Very poor workmanship on re-model. For re-model bathroom very poorly done no caulking in tub already leaving grout in tub. Wall in bathroom unfinished hole in wall. I would not stay here in 1 year.

"Just remodeled, clean and neat hotel. New rooms. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast (with waffles). About 30 min or less from Mammoth ski resort."
