Hi, Spent 3 days in Bend at the La Quina and had a very pleasant stay. Large room, useful computer hookup (wireless) and also use the downstairs printer and laptop in the business center Room was comfortable with easy access.
Date of Stay:
April, 2009
Clean comfortable rooms, and freindly staff. Can't think of anything.
Date of Stay:
October, 2008
The receptionist was very courteous and efficient, the property was well maintained, the room was nicely appointed and very clean, the location had convenient access to the highway but not too close (the location was very quiet), and the free newspaper was a nice touch.
Date of Stay:
August, 2007
No big problems, just not a great deal for the price. We paid */night - included additonal * for third person in room. Room fairly clean, linens worn out. Breakfast decent.

They are great for pets but I could not sleep a wink because I was itching all night. Either I am totally allergic to their sheets and pillows or they got a bed bug problem. Ugh.

The customer service was top notch! I have not been treated this well at a hotel. Customer service was impeccable. The beds were wonderfully comfortable and overstuffed with a ton of pillows. I would definitely stay again and recommend.

First time we have stayed at a La Quinta, but it won't be our last. Soft and cozy beds and pillows. Very clean and well worth the money.

One of the best things about the La Quinta in Bend was the complimentary breakfast. Choices of oatmeal or cold cereal or packaged muffins or toast or bagels or mini croissants or english muffins or hard boiled eggs or even making your own fresh waffles on two automatic griddles that time the baking and then beep at you when ready! The ice machine was readily available and there were cold drink and food machines very visible and available near the lobby and stairs. Staff was very polite and quick to honor requests.

Check-in was easy and we really liked the 24 hr pool. The hotel was very nice to stay at. We do a lot of traveling and I felt that the staff went above and beyond for our needs. I would stay here again. The breakfast in the morning was great! My husband really liked the waffles.

Breakfast, friendly staff, pool, cookies, coffee. No elevator. Great hotel for traveling with family. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Fresh cookies, water, and coffee in lobby. Clean room. Fabulous overall!

Great indoor pool, fabulous breakfast. A bit on the outskirts of town. Would have been nice to be more centrally located. Overall, great customer service. Rooms were very clean, nice. Pool area was a nice break for travel -weary kids. They even had a little fenced - in grassy area where dogs/kids could play. Breakfast was great - Belgian waffles, clean breakfast room.

Hot tub & pool was open for 24 hrs. Good waffles for breakfast. Thumping noises from room above. Clean, convenient, good price, friendly staff, good complimentary breakfast, pool and spa was open for 24 hours.

Met our expectations, close to our daughter to visit. Distinct smell of cigarette smoke in hallway and our bathroom smelled like urine. We enjoyed our stay, it was quiet and when we asked for less cushy pillows they delivered them to our room.

Convenient location. Horrible exercise room. Nice lobby with new features. Rooms were extremely outdated and well used. Stair access to the basement floor, where my room was, was far from parking. No elevator available.

Staff was very pleasant and efficient. No problems at all with the stay. None to report. This La Quinta was a relatively new moderate precede hotel. Everything was new and fresh. The staff was quite friendly and check in and out was not a problem. They placed in a room right next to vending machines and the ice machine and I was worried about the noise. However, once in the room there was no noise coming in through the walls or door. I think the textured walls detract from the appearance of the room. Overall though this was a clean facility and I would happily stay here again.

It was clean, new and safe. Very clean and friendly. Staff was very helpful. They provided directions to where I needed to go in town. Breafast was acceptable.

I liked the use of the swimming pool and the cookies and milk at night. I did not like that when we registered we were promised a room with 2 queens and ended up with one king and would have been charge $45 extra to upgrade. It is a nice hotel with a nice staff. I will probably stay there again.

Clean, Quiet, Good breakfast bar. No elevator, somewhat outdated. This hotel is located on the south end of Bend, Oregon and affords easy access to the city. It is a clean, quiet location with a few amenities including free wireless Internet access, and a pool. This hotel is not particularly friendly to the handicapped as it has no elevator, requiring a person to carry their baggage up or down a flight of stairs.
Date of Stay:
April, 2006
Great breakfast. Overly chlorinated hot tub. Pleasant, but room assigned was cramped for two adults and one dog, hotel is pet friendly, which is good, no microwave in cramped room, rooms with two queen beds do have more space and microwave, etc. Pool and hot tub are very nice, although hot tub has way too much chlorine added. Great waffle breakfast!
Date of Stay:
January, 2006
Clean, cookies at the front desk, coffee always on. Fine hotel. Basic. Continental breakfast was okay, but don't expect any meat or eggs. Wome wear and tear, but in general good shape.
