This motel is dirty, poorly maintained and just not a nice place to stay. While its prices don't indicate luxury, alt least it could be clean.

This is an okay hotel. Bad location in town, questionable at night. Outside hallways/stairwells need cleaning/upgrading. Room itself was decent - strange smells sometimes though. Staff is nice, breakfast is decent. I did not feel safe as a single female traveller.

The staff was not very helpful. The room was a little dirty and the internet was not very reliable. The staff was not rude, but not really helpful either.

This hotel has paper thin walls, keeping you up at night and early in the morning. When we arrived we were told our room would be smoking even though we had a guaranteed non-smoking room, and my 18 and 20 year old sons had to share one bed because they sold the double bed room we had guaranteed and told us they could only give us a king bed. They had no cots or sofas. The worst htel I have ever stayed in.

Location and price Overall shabbiness of property and cleanliness. Great price. Great location. But definitely a case of "you get what you pay for". The outside areas of the hotel (grounds and parking lot) were litter-strewn and the grass was well past needing cutting. The room was basic, functional...but the sink and toilet looked as if they'd not been cleaned - not really dirty but soap spots in the sink, indicating to me that it might not have been cleaned since the previous guest. There were dirty footprints on the bathroom floor, indicating that it hadn't been mopped. The sheets appeared clean but were so wrinkled it did make me wonder if they'd been slept on the previous night. The lobby and pool area looked nice - I just think the management needs to pay more attention to the overall look of the property and be sure that rooms are adequately cleaned.

The La Quinta was in the middle of something like a shopping center. Resturants were everywhere, you name it there it was. The resturants were also in walking distance, almost everything was in walking distance. The hotel itself, wsa worth every penny. The room was clean, roomy, microwave, frig, plenty of work space, I can't say enough about it.

Clean, friendly staff, great breakfast and romantic. Fruit flies and walls are paper thin, (noise outside of room). Very pleased, likeI said clean rooms and me and my wife had a great time, not a lot of snobby rules like no pets or smoking. And the pool area had great hours, very nice time. Highly recommended.

We were very pleased with the accommodations at La Quinta in Anderson, SC. The desk people were very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful -- the nicest we've had at a motel in our modest price range. The room had a frig and microwave although we did not use them; however this was a definite plus for the future. The A/C worked very well and our room was comfortable, attractive, and clean. Being on the main street of Anderson, it was easily accessible and also close to the shops and restaurants. We certainly will choose La Quinta again next visit to Anderson, SC.

Good location. Mattresses were uncomfortable. Not bad for the price, but the rooms could use an updating - especially the mattresses - they were very uncomfortable.

We were very pleased with the La Quinta in Anderson, SC, except for the fact that our room was right next to the stairs and so there was a lot of foot traffic. But that wasn't the fault of the hotel per se. The accommodations were more than adequate and the free breakfast was very enjoyable.

Desk Clerk was nice when I requested to be moved to a new room due to the bathroom mold & flying insects inside the room. Room had flying insects & mold on the tub.

I needed a place to stay while traveling,and found this hotel to be a great value and cozy place to get some rest. I enjoyed the channel options and the breakfast in the morning. The beds were quite comfortable as well.
