The price was great and the rooms were clean but that is where the perks stopped. There was no fridge or microwave, the curtains in the room would not close and though we complained nothing was done and the pool was closed until further notice. Wish there had been more accurate details before the trip was booked.

The place was good for being near the airport but was in need of a good wall to ceiling cleaning. The price was fair for the area. Only wish service was a bit better. Goog place to stay in a pich but not my place of choice next time I visit.

Found this hotel and thought it would be an easy stay on our way to Disneyworld since it's close to the freeway. Staff was fine, but the area is sketchy and a little run down. As soon as we walked in the room, the moldy/stale smell of the room was overwhelming. Couldn't figure out if it was the old air conditioner or just the room itself. The beds were mushy, and everything looked run down and old. The bathroom was dingy, and the bottom of the tub had that ground in dirty look to it. We used the pool, which seemed a little cold but that may have been the weather. Came back to the room to shower and didn't have hot water for at least 10 minutes. We didn't feel 100% safe there, many people were walking around the property and peeking in and out of their hotel room doors. I filled out the hotel comment card with our complaints and the person working the front desk just nodded when I handed it to her. We'll never stay at a La Quinta again -- think twice about staying here...the price might be right, but the hotel isn't.

The lobby was nice and people were friendly. Felt like everything was dirty in room. I did feel there needed to be some repairs and updates made to the bathroom. The bedding did not appear to be super clean. (I actually laid a sheet from home over the bed before I would let my daughter on the bed) Like they say, you get what you pay for. It was hard to get in and out of the parking lot, it was a very congested area. Would not stay there again. I feel guilty about saying that because the people were so nice. You can park at their hotel and shuttle to the cruise terminal for $5/day. Jaxport parking for the cruise terminal was $75 for 5 days. The continental breakfast was what you would expect to get for the price.

Friendly, pet grounds, nice breakfast, and good location. No restaurant. All employees were very friendly, easy access to freeways,grounds to walk pet, nice and clean, sound proof almost. I will definitely go back.

CheapTickets rated this hotel as 4 stars, so I was expecting a nicer place. It is really a MOTEL, with noisy window A/C unitsn and was a bit shabby.

Rooms were dirty. Dindn't even clean for two days. Didn't change sheets as requested. Left no towels, coffee pot remained dirty the entire three days. Wouldn't recommend.

The mattresses were hard and squeaky even with small movements in the bed. The carpet smelled like urine. The bathroom was not clean and had trash in the corner. No trash can liners in trash cans. Limited towels. Rooms needed updating.

Nothing. Filthy, unhelpful staff, shuttle service was non-existent for my travel time to airport. Hotel was picked based on close proximity to airport and complementary hotel shuttle. Hotel was about 20 minute cab ride because shuttle only operates 9am-9pm - I arrived at 9.30 pm and had a 5.25 am flight. Should not advertise free shuttle when it is not available for all customers.

"The front desk is horrible. They lack service skills and if you have traveled all day and are looking for a smile, go to Waffle House down the street, thats the only smile I got the first day I arrived. Can you imagine having to go to Waffle House to get some type of good service."

Recently, I paid twice as much to stay at the Ramada in Jacksonville & the service was horrible. This time I chose La Quinta, which had the lowest price. The room was very clean, & larger than the Ramada. Service & staff was top notch. There was no refrigerator/microwave, but overall this is an excellent hotel, with very low rates.
