La Cartolina is situated 10 minutes from the city of Sorrento. Continuing in the direction of Sant’Agata sui due Golfi, you will enter the beautiful tree-lined promenade leading to the enchanted countryside where the Residence is situated and soon arrive in the “il Deserto” locality.
Although it was built in a peaceful location, La Cartolina is just a few minutes from the lovely village of Sant’Agata, a short and pleasant walk away, where you can taste the delicious cuisine of one of Europe’s most famous restaurants: "Don Alfonso".
As already happened in the past to our guests, the most difficult moment is when you leave the residence. You can return and you will be welcome with affection and courtesy in every moment in the best way possible.
Accomodation
Modern and fully functional on three floors, surrounded by a full garden di cof about 1500 m2, with a solarium and two large terraces. Exclusive Use of the entire facility can be arranged, including the outdoor areas, useful for families that love their privacy or for small meetings.
A large lounge filled with antique furniture and it's fabulous fireplace will welcome guests while they are relaxing and as an alternative area for breakfast, normally served in the garden, under an elegant gazebo with all the splendid views in the background.
The Suites
Suites elegantly furnished with authentic epoch furniture are available with direct access to the panoramic solarium, where, on request, it is possible to have breakfast.
The interiors, offer to the guest full confort, with big spaces to be used. It is possible to use both the suites with saloon and the other bedroom as an only apartment and, on request, the kitchen.
They also offers integrative services which daily laundry, room service, general cleaning of the room. All the rooms are near the garden and the big swimming pool.

Transportation: From Highway A3 Napoli - Salerno go towards Naples until theCastellammare di Stabia exit. Take the Castellammare di Stabia exit and continue on SS 145 for about 23 Km, continue through various different towns before arriving in Sorrento (Vico Equense, Meta, Piano di Sorrento and SantAgnello). Sorrento is approximately 48 kilometers from Naples and is about a 1 hour drive without traffic. Once you arrive at Capo di Sorrento turn onto the Nastro Verde to get to SantAgata sui due Golfi. Then follow the signs for Deserto where our staff will be waiting to welcome you warmly at the time previously scheduled over the phone. From the Tiburtina Station in Rome, Marozzi buses leave daily for the Sorrentine Peninsula.The SITA line departs daily for Amalfi, S. Agata sui due Golfi and Massa Lubrense (making all the stops in the different towns on the way) with departures every half hour or so from the Sorrento Train Station. There is also a daily bus that departs from Assisi for Sorrento From the ARRIVALS terminal at the Naples Capodichino airport, Curreri buses are available daily to take you to the Sorrentine Peninsula. The ticket costs about 7 Euro and the drive is a little less than an hour. From the airport you can also take advantage of the taxi services or numerous other sorrentine transportation companies with rates ranging from between 70 and 100 Euros. Buses, taxis and shuttles can take you from the airport to the Circumvesuviana station in Naples. From the Napoli Centrale Piazza Garibaldi of the Ferrovie dello Stato, where trains arrive from the main Italian cities, the Circumvesuviana local trains depart providing daily service about every 30 minutes to Sorrento. The trip takes a little over an hour and no reservations are necessary. The ticket costs about 2.60 Euros and can be purchased at the ticket counter and at any of the newstands in the station. From the Beverello dock of Naples at the Piazza Municipio ferries and hydrofoils pcan be taken to Sorrento. The trip lasts about 45 minutes, and is quite comfortable, but it costs almost twice as much as going by train. They dock at the port of Sorrento, which is about 500 meters from the center. Shuttles are available from the main piazza. It is also easy to reach the islands of Capri and Ischia from Sorrento, thanks to the streamlined maritime transportation network that has frequent departures by hydrofoil and ferries.
