What a shabby place. I should have been worried when they asked for full payment at the start of our stay, over 3800 euros. The receipt stated 'no refunds'. I wished I had seen the rooms before I had made this payment.I had booked three rooms in September for the 'Fallas' and found most hotels were booked up for this busy March period. The hotel acknowledged the booking by putting their prices up as the web site 'Had not been updated ' for this period. This hotel was not exceptionally busy for the festival, I now know why.The rooms were poor. I would not recommend any room. We were given rooms 10, 15, 20. None were doubles even though this had been requested. The hot water was sometimes tepid. The rooms were very tatty with peeling wood and plastic veneers. Bathroom floor tiles were broken as were tiles around the sinks. Rooms 15 and 20 had bedrooms up a narrow stair case to a mezzanine floor. The twins were separated by a 1 metre square column, you could not see your partner when laid down. The TV pictures were generally poor with the reception in room 15 useless. None of the remotes operated on the up/down buttons. Maids did not leave new soaps although they collected the old soaps! These rooms did not have any cupboards for storage of underwear etc, just open shelves, and these were downstairs from the bedroom. Our Bathroom stank of sewage (15). None of the rooms had views. We complained and eventually settled on room 301 after inspecting three further rooms. All were in the same neglected state. This room did have some cupboard drawers, but was stuffy. It had a patio area, but no furniture, as was the same for the two room ajoining us, and there was a strong smell of sewage again even though we were on the top floor. The swimming pool was cloudy and had hair and other debris floating on it, as if the filtration was not working properly. We could not bring ourselves to use it although that was one of the major reasons I had booked for. The hotel is not particular

Although we enjoyed our stay i don't think this is a 4 star hotel. The location is good & although not in the centre it's handy for the "river" , cycle tracks & access to the beach ( 4 miles ).

Well situated Hotel on a busyish main street in central Valencia - within walking distance (10 - 15 minutes at a comfortable pace) of most of Valencia´s main sightseeing attractions including Turia Riverbed Park, City of Arts and Sciences, Cathedral, Historic Quarter and various Art Galleries. Don´t expect good views from any of the rooms but I would be happy to stay again anytime I wanted a pleasant overnight experience. Lacking any tourist information in the very tastefully decorated bedroom, which was small for double occupation but ideal for me on an overnighter on my own. English spoken in reception and I suspect recetionist would have been helpful to those seeking information and/or directions. Good bathroom spotlessly clean and with a very wide range of toiletries including toothbruhes and shaving, shoeshine and sowing kits. Buffet breakfast (not included in the room rate) was realativelly cheap at 6euros +IVA but the quality was merely satisfactory, and I was sad to see so much chipped crockery. Dining Room and TV Lounge at the entrance to hotel were both very clean and well decorated in a modern elegant style. Very quiet hotel in which I suspect the rooms have been sound-proofed, as well as being double-glazed and air conditioning was very effective on a very hot night and humid night (25ºC) Bed comfortable if a little firm for some tastes. Extra pillows and blanket available in the roomy mirror-doored wardrobe, as well as free safe for valuables.If you are not a walker ( and Valencia is generally an easy and safe place to walk in, even in the middle of the night and early hours of the morning) use a taxi - 6euros will take you anywhere within the central area of the city as well as to the main railway station. I´d be happy to recommend this good quality city hotel to any of my friends.

The hotel was ideally situated between the old town and the beach area. Which with the forthcoming America's Cup being held their makes this hotel best situated.
