Yes the rooms are small but it's good value and the location is excellent.

Centrally located hotel which is 30 seconds away from 2 major MTR stations. In middle of a shopping-area. Several restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel is approx. 25 years old due to which room furniture, carpet is ruined down. Based on my room experience I would classify the Kowloon Hotel Hong Kong as 2.5 star or maximum 3 star.

The guest rooms are a little on the small end of the scale, compared to rooms in the USA. However, the location and facilities of the Kowloon Hotel more than overcome this small aspect. The entire staff at the Kowloon Hotel Hong Kong is totally first class in customer service. I have stayed here on several occasions and have never experienced anything but superior service. The breakfast buffet is superb.

The feel and service of a 4 star hotel until you open the door to your room. The rooms are extremely small and they are not all that nice. It is located close to the Subway which is nice. If I would have stayed here at a 3 star price with 3 star expectations I would have been much more satisfied.

Clean affordable hotel, next to Subway station, and a short taxi cab ride to Kowloon Station for the Airport Express Train. Great breakfast and lunch buffet at reasonable price. Staff was very attentive to forwarding me text messages, and making sure my room was stocked with fresh fruit and water. Hotel was centrally located to all major attractions and shopping in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon. Only about 3 to 4 Subway stops to Central, Hong Kong. I will stay here again.

The hotel is situated in an ideal location however currently there are roadworks outside and around the hotel therefore the entrance was a bit chaotic. The check-in process was good and they were able to provide what I wanted. The luggage area was chaotic (again) as check-in and check-out luggages were put together in the reception hall way! The standard/superior room was a bit on the small size or cosy otherwise it was clean and well provided e.g., dressing gown, slippers, toiletries including toothbrush. I chose the hotel because it was convenient to pick up the airport bus A21 outside of the hotel however it wasn't possible during the day so had to walk a few yards up to the next bus stop. It would be good for the travel agencies and hotel to state there is roadworks happening around the hotel.

I enjoyed the Kowloon Hotel. I was upgraded to a harbor view upon arrival for a nominal fee which included free breakfast, internet, and happy hour. Entire hotel worked hard on my well being and I would stay at the Kowloon Hotel Hong Kong again if ever in Hong Kong.

Great "looking" hotel, lobby is very eye catching and majestic, service is ok, but the bottom line is that rooms are bonafied closets; minuscule, tiny. When opening the door, you feel like entering a walk-in wardrobe in which they squeezed 2 small beds and a table, with no walkingspace in between. Don't be fooled by the so called "premium rooms" or "harbour view": the taller "Peninsula" in between blocks everything, even at the top floors...very dissapointed! The location sure is great but you can easily find a much better accomodation, nearby, for that kind of money. Nothing is included; bfast is extra and internet charge is flat out scandalous! Do avoid!

The hotel is a very good location. Close to Nathan rd and MTR. Only downside was the size of the room. It's extremely small! we had a twin room, and hardly had any room to walk to the bathroom.

This place was the best bang for my buck. Everything was close - shopping, train, ferry, etc. I had no complaints. The rooms were tiny, but we rarely spent time in the room anyway. Overall, good experience. The concierge staff was very friendly.

We always stay at the Kowloon when in Hong Kong. Friendly, helpful staff, superb cuisine and modern (if small) rooms are complimented by a perfect location. Near the Star Ferry and most major attractions, the Kowloon Hotel Hong Kong has the MTR subway immediately available as well. Perfect.

I don't think that this should be included in the 4 star category. The very small rooms made the stay unpleasant.

Very disappointed with the room. Paid more for a better room and got a dog box next to the lift shaft. If that was not bad enough, water ran constantly through pipes all night long. Will never stay their again.
