What are your breakfast options?: We have a light breakfast available from our café from 8:30am. It includes cereal, toast, fruit toast, tea & coffee. We also have a Continental basket which is charged at $12.00 or a full breakfast for $16.50. This is delivered to your accommodation for you to self cater.
What transport is available to get around?: 4WD vehicle is required for transport in the area. There are several hire car companies in Broome and you are best to book ahead as vehicles do get booked out during the season:

You do not necessarily require a car when at Cape Leveque as everything at Kooljaman is within walking distance (not more than 5 minutes' walk at the most); however, if you wish to explore the peninsula you would require your own transport. Some tours would also require you to have your own vehicle. Air transfers are available through King Leopold Air. The interesting flight takes approximately one hour.

Road transfers can be arranged with various tour companies and usually include a full day tour on the way up or back, visiting the local communities and points of interest along the way. Some options include:

Do you have internet?: We do not have internet available in the cabins at Kooljaman but, we do have a Wi-Fi service available at the restaurant/reception area for $9 for 30 minutes or $15 for 1 hour.
Do you provide parking?: We do have plenty of parking.
How do I get there?: By Road:

A 4WD vehicle is required. No map would generally be required, the turn off to Cape Leveque is approximately 10 kilometers out of Broome (Broome - Derby Road). The first 90 kilometers of the road from Broome is unsealed which can be corrugated and sandy on some spots. If you keep on the main road, read what signage there is, you shouldn’t go wrong. The Kooljaman at Cape Leveque turn off is approximately 10 kilometers after the police station turn off. The distance is 220 kilometers from Broome and takes 2.5 – 3 hours' drive. No permit is required for the drive on the Cape Leveque road however, when visiting communities, visitors must first register with the administration office located within the communities and pay any applicable fees.

By Water:

We have a constant flow of yachts coming in to Cape Leveque during the dry season. We do not provide anchorage but yachts are anchored off shore regularly for days at a time and often book in for dinner at our restaurant. If landing and coming into our facility, you will need to pay a $5.00 per person fee for the use of our facilities.
