Koh Samui Laguna Resort

The Samui Laguna Resort hotel is located at the north end of Lamai Bay, only a few steps from the sandy beach and surrounded by a peaceful lagoon and coconut plantations. The tourist centre of Lamai, with its wide range of diverse shops and entertainment venues, can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot. Transfer to Koh Samui Airport takes about 35 minutes by car (roughly 17 km from the hotel).

Located amidst a palm tree grove, the complex was renovated in 2004 and comprises a total of 33 rooms and 29 bungalows. Guests are welcomed in the 3-storey main building with an air-conditioned 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, a newspaper stand, and a TV lounge. Dining options include a cosy cocktail bar and a restaurant with highchairs available for children, which offers a successful mixture of national and international dishes. Guests may make use of the laundry and room services, and medical assistance is available on request. Parking spaces are also on offer for those arriving by car.

The accommodation units each come with an en suite bathroom with a shower, a minibar, satellite/ cable TV, and individually adjustable air conditioning. The free-standing bungalows are more spacious, are located nearer the beach, and feature a combined lounge/ bedroom. However, there are no TVs in the bungalow. All lodgings include a balcony or terrace.

The hotel's garden complex features a swimming pool and a sun terrace where sun loungers and parasols have been laid out ready for use. Chilled drinks and snacks are served at the poolside snack bar. Furthermore, there is a massage service available (charges apply), and various water sports are on offer from local providers on the beach (fees apply), where it is also possible to play beach volleyball. The nearest golf course is some 2 km from the complex.

Guests may select their breakfast from a buffet. Lunch and dinner may be taken la carte or as a set menu.
