I stayed for two nights and the rooms were larger than most hotel rooms, which was nice. They do not keep kitchenware or hair dryers in the room, but they do have them. You just have to ask. They had a kitchen in the room which I liked. Made it easier for me being a mother with two kids. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location isn't the greatest because you have to take the next street to get to it, but the place was comfortable. I would definitely stay again. The price is good for what you get.

The Knights Inn (Stockton CA) is an old property located off March Lane. The street is noisy, tho in a residential neighborhood. My room was at the end closest to the street, and would have benefited from extra insulation against the noise. The kitchenette is not separate from the bedroom so if you plan to cook in it, be prepared for the resultant odor/noise to permeate the full room. The bathroom was small but serviceable, and some of the few towels provided were threadbare. Minimal amenities (no hairdryer, glad I brought my own) tho ample closet space, including some built-in shelves adjacent to the bathroom and not part of the closet itself. The room had few furniture, and just one night table for the queen size bed. Access from March Lane is difficult as you can't turn into the motel driveway from the street, you have to go down a bit and make a u-turn, which was difficult to do at night on a busy street. I would have stayed elsewhere if there was availability in the vicinity. Staff was cordial and helpful.
