We arrived in the room and the bed was missing the pillows and we asked the front desk for some and were told they did not have any. So we slept pillowless and the room was dirty and should have been free..

went to nd football game in 2008 . the price was insane $* for this dump. we could see dixie hwy with the door closed. you could see where repairs were recently made due to a break in. this place is scary and now they have doubled the price $*. do youself a favor drive to the closest town if all rooms are booked. i shareds my feelings with thier home office and did not rec. a response. warning : do not stay at this hotel.

I stayed at this Hotel on Christmas eve, and don't tend to agree with the other reviews. Sure, it's no ""Insert Incredibly Overpriced but Nice Hotel Name Here"", but it wasn't the worst place I have stayed. Rooms could use a remodel, and the sheets on one of the beds weren't clean. The staff at the desk was very helpful and answered all of our questions. I think it was kind of a ""You get what you pay for"" type of place.

Wow, what a dump. Smelly, run down, poorly equipped...no blow drier and the carpet looked like an uncleaned homicide scene.

The hotel was in need of a makeover. Limited channels on tv. The batroom needed to be gutted and re-done.

Location. Nasty, dirty, unclean, filth. The room was dirty, neither the towels nor the bedding were washed well. The walls were only partly painted, the bathroom tile was broken. On the bright side the staff was friendly.

It is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The door to the outside had a on inch gap along the bottom and half way up the side. It hadn't been edge vaccuumed in months and the wall paper was coming off the wall. The toilet paper holder was torn off the wall and on the floor.

Close to the turnpike. Filthy dirty carpet, mold in shower, cobwebs in fixtures. The hotel is close to the turnpike and restaurants. The room carpeting was filthy and we were afraid to take our shoes off. The shower curtain had mold on it. The light fixture suspended in the bathroom above our heads had cobwebs in it and numerous dead bugs in it. The bed was surprising clean and extremely comfortable to sleep on.

Clean sheets! Best I can do! Dirty, noisy, had to take shower on my knees! This was, without a doubt, my worst experience. I have stayed in many hotels in my time and I can say, oh my God, this was the worst. I am 6' 4" tall and the shower head was only 5' if that off of the shower floor. I would not only strip the one star. This property would be better used for a parking lot!

Did not like anything about this hotel. Room was never cleaned even after I called the front desk several times. I just gave up. Will not ever stay there again. Room was not cleaned before I arrived and they never cleaned it even after I called several times to the front desk. The cleaning people were foreign and the front desk claimed they could not communicate with them to tell them to clean it. Whatever! Will not ever stay there again!

Location to the stadium and the competitive prices. Hotel is in pretty poor shape. It was a decent hotel. I didn't hate it, but I probably wont stay their again.

It was close to Notre dame. They gouged prices out of control for football weekends. It was really dirty, I felt sick taking a shower. The price was way out of control. When seeing football at Notre dame, stay in Elkhart or Chicago if you don't want crazy prices. If you must stay in south bend, definitely don't stay at the knight's inn.

This hotel was very economical and includes breakfast. Staff was nice and helpful. Beds and bathrooms were clean. Carpets seemed dirty. There are residents of the hotel. Breakfast did not offer much variety. This hotel gave me what I was looking for cheap accommodations and an excellent location. Very close to nod and sac. It included breakfast, which also saved money. Beds and bathrooms were clean. Air conditioning worked well on hot nights. Good selection of cable channels HBO, vh1, met. There even was a pool. Keep in mind this is an old motel.
