Clean and tidy. Not much to look at. Other staying guests enjoyed the pool. Overgrown grounds, maybe not hotels property? Continental Breakfast was ridiculous, a few tattered donuts???

Thecost was perfect and the staff was great! Mattress was a little lumpy/wiry. It was quiet and the air conditioning/heat was spot on. age of the hotel showed in every nook and cranny.Staff was the most friendly effective and non-evasive ever. Which considering the initial fear one might assume at first glance considering the age of the interior.

I was not at all impressed with this hotel. The customer service person at the front desk didn't believe me when I told him I had a reservation. Once I showed him my confirmation number he took his time to set-up my room and gave me the nasty very unkept room at the end of the hotel. I traveled alone and did not like being in the back of an empty hotel when I arrived. Therer was what seemed to be the maintenance person, in the room above mine and they were extremely noisy well into the night. Considering I went to Roanoke to do business and relax for my birthday, I was VERY unhappy with this hotel. There was a much nicer one up the road but I could not get a refund. Maybe I will use another travel company for my next trip, if this is the type of hotels you work with.

i had problem with room so i menton to front desk (he said by himself manager).very very rude people,housekeeper came out to solve problem so i thought the housekeeper was manager.i never seen that kind of rude people.

Location. The room was very dirty & it stunk! If they learned to run the sweeper and get rid of the odor it would have been great.

Knights Inn was clean, great breakfast, and front desk manager was very helpful and friendly. We will go back.

The curtains were worn and torn. The beds were thin, bumpy, not comfortable. The blankets were dirty. The hardware holding up the beds were not made for the mattress, stuck out from under the bed. We bumped into them several times, very painful. The bathroom curtain was MOLDY. The bathroom ceiling was falling. The painted surfaces in the bathroom were layer upon layer of paint, very ugly. The free breakfast was cereal, donuts, bread. If I would have paid more I would be more upset.

This place was completely horrible! The room was filthy and totally disgusting. As other reviewers have said, the bathroom was very moldy. I ended up skipping a shower because I couldn't bring myself to step into that tub. The carpet was full of filthy stains and cigarette burns. Also, the door to the room was completely unsafe as the door frame was half missing and chipped away. This place needs a serious overhaul.Unfortunatley this was the only hotel room left in town by the time I arrived there at 11PM (for a funeral the next day) so I had not other choice but to stay.

It was in a good location. The upkeep of the room was very poor. This was a record for our hotel stays. This was by far the worst room we have had anywhere in the last forty years!

Called two days before going and reservation desk had a hard time finding reservation. Promised smoking room/got non smoking room/Bathroom had black mold all over walls, shower and ceiling!

They was nice and friendly. It was really dirty. I felt uncomfortable. Needed cleaned! I will not stay at this hotel again. They need to clean it up.There was dirt on the floor the bathroom had hair in the tub. It was nasty.The room next to ours said the same thing as we meet them outside. The staff at the front desk where very nice.

I was intrigued by the mold buildup on the ceiling in the bathroom, along with the wrong-sized sheet arranged inside out on the mattress. I also couldn't fail to notice the gross stains on the wall, as well as the marker scribbles around.

Convenience only. Rooms smelled, poor service and no shampoo in the bath room. It was convenient and the price was good, but I would not stay there again because of the smelly rooms.

The room was very dirty. The drawers in the dresser were not in the track and could not be used.
