I wasnt expecting fancy but when the handle fell off into my hand from the shower I was less than inpressed. When the same thing happened with the sink handle, I saw a trend. They need a maintence person.

Worst hotel ever, as close to a homeless shelter I have ever been. Stayed one night of two got in late at night. Woke up the next morning and asked to be moved to a different hotel it was not as advertised. Orbitz refused to get me a full refund, stating I needed to work it out with the manager of the hotel. Staying their made me feel like I was going to be attacked by a junkie or something. Orbitz was unhelpful and little more than a collection point and no real help for the customer in the complaint resolution process. Ultimately the Orbitz CSR was rude and clearly acted like a problem resolution specialist when you tried to speak he would cut you off and controlled the conversation for the benefit of his company. In the end I was left with one real option, be refunded my money for only one night and a little unsure about the company as a whole.

The Knights Inn (North) in Lexington was reasonable and comfortable. It was not loaded with amenities, but it did have a refrigerator along with a microwave oven. Most places of lodging in this price range do not have those amenities. All things considered it served our purpose as a place to relax for a few hours before a 5:30 am flight. It's convenient (near freeway) location made it conducive for our out of town friends to meet us and reunite.

Clean and inexpensive. Older property and amenities. A low level property for a cheap stay, a little out of the way, older beds but rooms equipped with a microwave and refrigerator, both of them clean and working, smaller, older televisions with no working remote. Kind of rough clientele, nice rural neighborhood.

Check-in was quick and easy and cracker barrel was next door. The section of rooms was in a remote location and was not well lit. The section of rooms I stayed in was in a remote location where it didn't feel safe. The door, when shut, still had approx. A 1/2 inch of wiggle room. The window had a section of glass missing that was replaced with plywood. The linoleum in the bathroom was grossly stained from water leaks and nesting birds outside the room chirped all night long. It was long overdue for remodeling or destruction. I would never stay there again!

Wi-Fi. This hotel was not fit for man OR beast. When we arrived around 1 am, the clerk informed us he had good news and was giving us a Jacuzzi sweet. I would not have climbed into that NASTY thing for any amount of money. There were dead flies all over the room and the walls around the "Jacuzzi" were exploding with mold! Not to mention that the ceiling over the bed was collapsing. My wife would not even take off her jacket in the room. We slept on top of the blankets fully dressed and I couldn't bring myself to even remove my shoes in there. I understand that this was a (supposed) 1 star hotel and we wanted to go economy, but trust me y'all, spend the extra $25 and get yourself a place you can sleep without being sick to your stomach.
