I came to Knoxville for a weekend getaway, and--considering my primary needs were decent location to restaurants and sites and price--my needs were met exceedingly. Decent restaurants were around and the Zoo and other tourist attractions were close enough to avoid a discouragingly long car ride. The hotel was very close to the highway and easy to spot. The hotel staff was friendly; and though they could not answer all my questions, they helped me find a way to answer to get more information. The rooms were decent for the price I paid and were satisfactorily clean.

Location. Very dirty. Would not recommend to anyone. Motel was extremely dirty. Cannot rate even as a 1 star rating.

We wanted a cheap place not too far away to get away from the everyday stress. The beds were not made well, the bathroom had holes in the wall, a ceiling tile was missing over one of the beds. I refused to walk around barefoot. I didn't see any bugs but I would not have been surprised if I had. No microwave or fridge. TV remote was broken. I think the staff lived in the hotel as well. The breakfast was a joke, neither one of us ate it.

Upon arrival, the parking lot was being resurfaced, so we could not get to our room to unpack, we had to come back later, not the best start!! To our dismay when we did finally get into our room to unload, while settling in, we discovered dog faeces on the floor under a chair, and dog food & trash under the end of the bed. We were moved to another room, but obviously this whole experience made us extremely uncomfortable about the level of hygiene in the hotel. The staff were friendly & apologetic, but this did not help appease our discomfort at the situation.

Decent people to deal with. Address did not indicate true location. About what I expected from Knight's Inn, street address did not match location. 1/2 block off on another street.

Though the staff was very nice the facility was not. The hotel is old and has not had any noticeable upgrades in years. The rooms are not as clean as they could be. We were informed by the staff of the known prostitutes that attempt to conduct business there. This is what we could afford but will not stay there again.

The rating was 5 out of 5 positive reviews, so I tried it. But when we (my wife and I) entered the room it smelled bad, musty or moldy and maybe cigarette smoke though it was supposed to be non smoking, and the bed cover, the chairs, even the walls felt dirty. We were so tired from traveling we lay on the bed to rest for a few minutes, but soon decided it was not acceptable. But since we had "used" the room they would not refund our money. We called Orbitz and got them to cancel and refund us for the other 2 days I had reserved, but the one night was nonrefundable. We found other accomodations on our own. If you just need a cheap room and don't mind the smell, then maybe you'll do OK here, but my advise is go somewhere else.

Convenient for last minute trip. It looked worn out. The beds were hard and the pillows were skimpy.

Rats had used the bed for their bathroom, leaving deposits under the pillow. Management only shrugged and said they would have housekeeping change the bed. Should it not be changed after each stay????

Travelled to Knoxville with a friend for a concert. We got to the Knights Inn late in the evening (about 10 pm) and the woman at the reception was incredibly nice and friendly. She knew who I was, had our key ready, and even came to our room to ask if we needed anything at all. We also encountered staff the next day who were very friendly and gave us lots of tips for food, where a Wal-Mart was, etc.

I stayed here for 2 nights and was let down by the conditions. Please call around to other knoxville hotels before taking this one.

Staff was quite friendly and helpful, the guests quite quiet, and location very centralized. We had a great visit with family and plan to return for my father's birthday in January.

The front desk person was very helpful. The hotel room was never cleaned, we just asked for towels.

AC and hot water worked fine. Unhappy a diaper was under my mattress and there was no alarm clock. never being to Knoxville I was astounded to find an 8.5% tax, but that still did not explain the fees added to my bill and they would not tell me what those fees were. There was no way to find a daily paper (they put out day old ones as "complimentary" ) too far off the beaten path. Won't stay there again.

It was close to the interstate highway. The pillows should have been thrown away. All 4 were lumpy. Old linens, and towels racks were falling down. This hotel was definitely not worth the price, (44.00 plus taxes.) I expected to get a comfortable property. Even a 1 star hotel should be neat and in good repair. Mattresses were very uncomfortable as well.
