I should get my money back, no hot water , foot prints in shower no trash can. I complained and the staff did nothing to make up for it. Paul Ostermann

This hotel was hard to find and I did not feel safe. It was an old hotel the room had new furnishings, but the bed mattress was not good to sleep on. This was the last hotel out of 6 and it was the worst one. Call two different numbers the morning we left and could not get anyone to answer the phone. Know one was in the lobby, no place to leave the keys to the room, no sign what to do for help!

This was the worst travel experience I ever had. I did not feel safe in the area of the motel. The first room I check into the adjoining room door would not close or lock and the carpet was soaked. The second room had a broken nightstand, the window would not lock and there was a plunger next to the toilet. The carpet did not meet the walls and it was filthy. The third room had bugs in the bathroom, a filthy bedspread and insects in the bed. I gave them three chances and requested a full refund. It was the first motel that I have ever been that required a photocopy of my driver's license. I have stayed at other Knight's Inns and they have all been acceptable. This one should have been condemned.

This motel was utterly disgusting. Granted, you get what you pay for so I suppose you can't expect much for $35 a night. Might as well pay by the hour. There was a dirty (not just used, but DIRTY) towel hanging behind the door, there was soap scum all over the shower, and random hairs found everywhere from the sink to the sheets. Not to mention the weird damp spot I stepped in near the bed. At one point the tv remote fell under the bed and no one wanted to venture down there to find it. Paying the extra $20-$30 a night for a nicer hotel room is definitely the best way to go in this situation.

Close to things. Dirty. This hotel was so dirty and there were not enough supplies (towels, washcloths, pillows etc) and they said they didn't have any left.

there was absolutly no signage to get to the hotel. one needs very bad luck to find it. i arrived at 6:40pm and was greeted by a young lady who was at her first day of work. she was unable to check me in. she also told me that she started at 7:00am in the laundry and was working till 11:00pm. she paged her manager. i waited about 10min. when he arrived i told him i wanted a king ns. he first offered me a room with a wet carpet. there was a flood in the bathroom earlier . i refused. he then offered me another room he explained that they just needed to put a new doorknob on it. after taking more than 15 more minutes to "check" me in, i went to the room and they were still trying to install the doorknob. after watching them try to fix the door for another 10 minutes he came to me and offered me a third room that i took. it had a queen bed and smelled like smoke and dust. i stayed for about two hours and decided to leave. it was the worst hotel experience i have ever experienced.

Absolutely nothing. Dirty shower, old soap & no light bulb. I would not stay here again. No fridge or microwave and the room were dirty - garbage was full, shower was dirty, left over used soap.

The room not been adequately cleaned -- the linens on one of the beds had not been replaced from a previous occupant. The continental breakfast consisted of coffee and a tray of doughnuts.

Nothing the place was disgusting! Everything! Well we had 2 non-smoking rooms and 1 of them stink of smoke. At that point we really didn't feel comfortable staying in 2 rooms because of some shady characters hanging around outside so we stayed in 1 room. We definitely wouldn't have stayed there.

This Hotel Knights Inn Girard was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. We had to ask to get the room made up, we had to ask and sometimes go after fresh towels every day except one, The whole time we were there the sheets were never changed, and the room was only made up after we fussed about it. When we first arrived it was odvious the shower hadn't been properly cleaned someone had left their soap and shampoo in the shower. The carpet and floors were so dirty if you walked bare footed your feet would be black. We stayed 7 days and had to ask twice for toilet tissue. When we ask we were given 1 washrag for two people, two towels that didn't smell clean at all, 1 hand towel and 1 bath mat. Unless we specified that we needed 2 washrags. Their continental breakfast consisted of coffee and doughnuts, nothing for anyone weight consious. The night staffs attitude ranged from tolorant to rude. The day staff was better. The first time we went in there, the maintaince (I think) man was draining water out of the light fixture made us feel real secure. There was no table or chair, just night stands. We ask for 2 keys and I was startled when the key I was given opened the wrong room. The door right next to mine, I made the mistake. I thought our room was 103 but it was 104. Consequently we never left the room without having all of our valuables with us. The location was bad too. You had to drive through another hotels parking lot, or go a few blocks out of your way to get around the median that blocked the turn onto the road you turn on to get to the hotel. All in all we would never stay there again!!! Even if we had to pay twice the price someplace else!

Nothing. Everything. Did not stay. Hotel is dirty, mold issues, under maintained. Unsafe. High crime, drug traffic. Police raids on a regular basis.
