Started off by driving through a construction zone to get to the motel. (Staff was friendly at check in). The room was decorated "uniquely" but was clean so we decided to make the best of it. My daughter used the bathroom immediately and discovered that the toilet wouldn't flush. We left to get dinner and spend time with family and upon returning, found that the ac had cooled the room down. Sometime during the night however, it froze up and stopped working. We both woke up sweating! I also woke up with a very sore eye. I didn't have one before going to sleep so maybe it was from the pillow??? Not sure??? We left it (the ac) off while getting breakfast and it did turn back on later...after it thawed out?. It didn't matter though because we decided to leave early and stay with family the 2nd night. The money we lost by (pre-paying) and leaving early was totally worth being away from there! So, if you're considering this Knight's Inn...DON'T!

The entrance way was about to be washed away into a large pit.

For the money, it was not worth the stay. The floor sloped downhill from the 2nd bed to the bathroom door. It was creaky and worn overall. The building was in general need of maintenance.

It's very easy to get to being right off the highway, pretty close to South Bend. There was some mold on the shower curtain but what tdo you expect for 50. Not, not great.

We may have been the last guests before they tear down the motel. Do not stay at this Knights Inn. They are building a new hotel next door. The old motel is in a construction site and planned for demolition.

The rooms were spacious and the sheets were very comfortable. The continental breakfast consisted of gas station danishes; this was disappointing. The hotel was surprisingly spacious and comfortable and the staff was very kind and polite. The continental breakfast however, might as well have been non-existent.

Beds were comfortable. Dirty ice bucket, inconvenient ice maker, inconvenient breakfast. Remote for TV didn't work. The people working there did no talk English very well, they were not friendly, and nothing was convenient. No places to get snacks.

It had water. It was the worst place I ever stayed in. The hotel is very isolated and not well lighted. It isvery worn. Most of the building are being torn down. There was nothing I enjoyed about the place.

Nothing. It was the worst hotel I have ever seen. The hotel was a mess, there was dust and dirt on the floor, and used Q-tips on a shelf. There was some stuff on the floor and the bathroom sink. There was food on the floor. I would not recommend it to anyone.

NA. The decorations were really quite something; worse than blank walls. It was completely acceptable.

Close proximity to place we were visiting. Needs renovation, cleaning up, doesn't deserve any star rating. Good location, but needs to have major renovations done. Paint was peeling, front door cracked. Superficial cleaning done. Could see dust around large corner areas of everything. The sheets were clean. If this is a one star, I would never stay in a one star motel again. Think. You should probably review this place to see if you really want to recommend it.

Convenient location. Outdated room, not very clean. This is an adequate hotel for the price. It is conveniently located near the interstate and numerous restaurants. However, the rooms are very outdated and not as clean as they should be.
