Rooms were a bit dirty and one had some flies. Location was nice - right off the highway. But, I would not stay there again.

Nothing. Mold in bathrooms, heater blew cold air, staff pushy. We were staying because my father-in-law is in intensive care at the hospital there. The bathroom has mold all over the walls, the heater blew cold air and just because we were not out of the room right at 11:00 the phone was ringing and the maid was banging on the door. We had asked for more time due to our situation.

The exterior seemed a bit outdated, as are most Knights Inns, but the individual room was newly renovated and clean. We got a king with a sofa bed and there was plenty of room. TV was nice and big and the bed was firm. The bathroom was small and the showerhead was just the right height for a 5'6", but too short for a 6'2" person. Within walking distance of some good restaurants, KMart, gas stations, and pretty much anything you would need. Didn't see the pool, but it was too cool to swim anyways. Breakfast was juice, coffee, and doughnuts from 6 to 10 am, but IHOP was across the street, and was great. Overall, a great place to stay if you need something cheap and convenient and aren't looking to be pampered.

It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The room smelled horrible. The main light didn't work, when I went to check to see if it was the bulb, the shade fell on me. The bathroom had hair from the previous guest, even though it was "cleaned". The A/C didn't work and they stick me WAYYYY in the back. If you do go here, make sure you're in buildings 1, 2, or 3. I left after an hour. Spend the money and go elsewhere.

Location was great, right off the highway. Fridge and microwave in the room.

This is probably the worse motel I could imagine. The room stank and was filthy, and smelled of dog and old cigarette smoke. The whole place is creepy and should be taken off your list. There are plenty of other lodging close by that are nicer, less expensive and decent. the staff were courteous, but the room was DISGUSTING! The "complimentary continental" breakfast consisted of a dozen old doughnuts and some coffee. The rooms are all single story in four rows and have no sheers or liners on the curtains, so you can either close the drapes tightly (highly recommended due to the seedy area) or let everyone stare in. We had a bed with a grimy bedspread that smelled, a love seat that I would have put out to the curb it was so dilapidated, and a big nice TV.The carpet was gross, and the whole room had such a horrible stench. I don't mind economy lodging if it was in the least bit clean, but other than the fact that this facility is close to the freeway exit, it has little to offer. Could have passed for an hourly rate motel.

This hotel is great if you are just passing through. I recently stayed there with a friend as we were both attending the Golden Horseshoe reunion at the Capitol the next day. The hotel was in a great location for us. We were only about five miles away. We just wanted to stay at a hotel so we could hang out and catch up and not have to drive to Charleston early the next morning. The hotel was very convenient to get to as it is located just off the interstate. The room was clean and we had plenty of hot water. The hotel is located very close to several restaurants which is a plus. The hotel did have a pool, but we didn't use it. They did have a small contential breakfast which we also didn't take advantage of. If someone was planning to stay there for more than one night, it might be nice to have more of a breakfast.

Hotel met all expectations. It was clean and comfortable. Check in and out was extremely efficient.

This place was absolutely the worst! The rooms are of poor quality, and the breakfast is stale doughnuts. I was honestly afraid for my life! After being woken up by some stranger banging on the door, I called the front desk. They proceeded to tell me there was nothing they could do,so I sat scared on the edge of my bed for 3 hours waiting for it to get light outside so that I could pack my car and leave asap! I would have called the police, but could only dial out to the operator on my phone! The doors were thinner than the threadbare linens and the best thing that came out of my stay was finding the two hotels located in the parking lot directly behind this disaster.

the room had a musky odor.Thamk God I had some disenfectant cleaner in the trunk of my car.I cleaned the door knobs, sinks, showerstall, toilet and the t.v. table.DO NOT believe the pic on the internet. My aunt was traveling with me and we were so disgusted. The pilows were BROWN,you could see through the pillowcases. The beds were covered with a matrress pad and the mattresses looked as if they were picked up out of the dumpster. We were suppose to stay 2 days and left the last night around 10:30p.m.,we just couldn't spend another night in that horrible place. The local health department should condemn The Knight's Inn.

Not very happy with my room. Bathroom is very small. Room stinks.

The handicapped room was truly barrier free and the bathtub came with a bathchair that could be placed conveniently for the handicapped person and removed when the bathtub was needed for someone else. The room was spacious and very clean and they placed us away from others to avoid causing our dog to bark without asking............great place we're staying here next year on our way to Florida!

It was close to bob Evans & McDonald's. It was a dump. It it set up campus style so there is no feeling of security. After you leave the office you are on your own if you are alone.

"motel is good for just basic needs, absolutely no frills, but convenient to interstate"

The Knights Inn was alright. It was cheap and a place to stay. there are many restaurants nearby. It is about 5 mins. from the capital.

Refrigerator and microwave in the room! Nothing to dislike. Great price for a no-frills hotel. Very clean, older style but so what. All we did was sleep there, so the age of the place doesn't matter. All on one level so we could very conveniently park right in front of our door. Very pleasantly surprised to find a large fridge and microwave in the room. Lots of dining and shopping nearby, just off interstate. Front desk clerk was very efficient, he had me in and out of the lobby in about 30 seconds. Very satisfied and would definitely stay here again.

"The place looked seedy from the outside; the room number plate was missing from some of the rooms. Inside the room was fine but the carpet has an old, cigarette-like smell. For the price, though, it wasn't that bad."

Nice people Rooms rundown

It was nice to have a small refrigerator in the room, micro and coffee also but we didn't use. Trash and old food bits behind furniture and in sofa bed, sofa bed not comfortable for sleeping. The room could have been cleaner. The bed was comfortable. Parking was convenient. Didn't hear much street noise. Bathroom and dressing area was a bit small. Staff was helpful, but didn't know the area very well.
