Date of Stay: July, 2009

Just what I neededI arrived late.. 5.30pm and had to leave at 8am the following morning so only had a brief experience of the hotel which is set in beautiful grounds, quiet and would have been very relaxing if I had been lucky enough to be able to stay longer. The breakfast was enjoyable although no yogurt or muesli! The room was very comfortable and the bathroom had been modernised to a very high standard. All in all just what I needed after a long drive.

Only Stayed for 1 night this time but was comfortable, clean and friendly, Also the food has been well above average both times I have stayed here.Will be Using the Hotel again if in the area.

Abergele for the weekend.This hotel was packed this weekend but despite that our room was quiet, with no disturbance from the various parties being held. The swimming pool was welcome after walking in the day and wonderfully empty. The changing rooms require a bit of investment but were adequate. We only ate breakfast, so cannot comment on the meals, other than to say that we were pleased to eat just up the road in St Georges at the Kinmel Arms, (which was brilliant). Breakfast was adequate but also requires a bit of investment to bring into the 21st Century.

Another visit to a great hotel.I really like staying in this hotel, it's pretty central for all of North Wales and for North West England too. The Kinmel Manor is set in beautiful grounds and in a quiet and peaceful location, which is very important to me.Car parking is ample and close to Reception. The reception desk is manned constantly with helpful, friendly staff who do their best to assist whatever the query is.The rooms are lovely, fairly spacious and very clean although not all rooms are equipped with both shower and bath. The beds are very, very comfortable!The food here is outstanding - everything is freshly cooked to order and the menu is full of choice. I ordered dinner via room service and it arrived beautifully presented and hot! Breakfast is served in the main dining room and patrons have a choice of what they want. Fruit juices, cereals and fruit are also made available for self-service.This hotel has a swimming pool - it's not huge but for those who love to swim, it's a definite bonus. There is a gym and sauna also.What I particularly like about this hotel is the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. They are polite and pleasant without being ingratiating and respond to any requests for assistance immediately.I always stay at this hotel when I'm in or near the area, it really is restful.

Was a very pleasant stay. The staff were all very friendly, attentive and helpful.The room was big, clean and to a very good standard. Surrounding area was very tranquil despite being so close to the a55.Leisure facilities were good but overall I feel for our stay we paid a little over the odds. Maybe understandable given the date we stayed.The evening meal was good but not great and was expensive - breakfast was very good.Overall a great place to stay and would definitively stay again and recommend to others for the right price.

Very conveniently located for the A55. Impressive dinning room and nice looking Bar. The rest of the hotel is tired and worn. Room was smelly. Service was fine.

A comfortable, clean hotel. The only downside was the breakfast, which was fine for someone wanting a fry-up, but it us very rare these days to find a breakfast buffet totally devoid of fruit or croissants. This was very basic fare that falls below the other standards of the hotel.

This is one of my very favourite hotels to stay in and, if I have to be anywhere in North Wales again - this is the one I'll choose.Nothing is too much trouble for the hotel team, whatever your request. The staff are friendly and accommodating and attentive without being too solicitous or ingratiating. The hotel is clean throughout and the rooms are of a very high standard. I was upgraded on my last visit to a suite - these are new rooms and finished to a really high standard.Food is excellent - the Brasserie is good quality and good value, with a good range and the food is beautifully cooked. Room service is available, there is a tray charge but this is quite reasonable.Remember to take your gym kit and swimsuit - this hotel has a gym and pool (although not Olympic sized by any means!).

The hotel feels dated and tired. Armrest of the chair in the room was broken. The room could have done with a lick of paint. My colleagues room had mould. The changing rooms in the leisure facilities have no working lockers and was overun with flying ants!! (this was probably outside the control of the hotel). Good large car park.

found that the staff werent really that bothered bout us, just me and my girlfriend both 22 and easy going. they had a wedding on and obviously could nt cope with one other couple! didnt see a smile until we left when the staff seemed ok (now there was no one else) they spoke a couple of times to us there back to us which seemed a bit rude!anyway it was nice stay good facilities with a lovely pub down the road called the Kinmel arms (who were friendly and recommened places to go). Anyway there werent any other problems and it seemed quite nice overall just run by moody rude people!!

On arrival at the hotel there was nobody on reception which was a bit disappointing, but once the manager arrived, we were checked in with minimal fuss. There was a wedding on in the hotel on the night we stayed, and even though the staff were busy with the wedding, we had a very good meal in the restaurant and were very well looked after by the manager. All staff were friendly and there is a nice laid back atmosphere in the place. The breakfast was a buffet and food was hot and well cooked. Did not get to check out the leisure centre so can't comment on it. Overall, the hotel is fine, it needs some renovations but any downside is made up for by the staff which were all helpful, friendly and efficient. I would stay there again and would be happy to recommend the hotel to friends.

This is a good value business hotel, ideal for the North Wales coast. I had the daily menu in the restaurant, it is plain and simple food but plent of it, fresh vegetables and served piping hot.The place was very quiet and you sometimes have to wait for someone to turn up at the bar, but it seems quite normal for the pace of the hotel. Staff are very pleasant.There is a gym and pool but I did not use the facilities.

We had a great stay - room was fairly basic but clean and comfortable. Food was fantastic, nicely stocked bar and the staff couldn't do enough for you. Hotel facilities were good and there was ample car parking. Highly recommended!

the electric kettle in my room number was not working. I also did not understand why the shoe shine machines were all plugged off. why put them there in the first place?value for money though overall was good, but they need to improve on room quality.

Hotel currently undergoing some refurbishment but this didn't detract from the hotel in any way. Ample parking and a friendly welcome, room service available and staff were very accommodating and attentive. The hotel has a gym for residents to use and a pool also - well worth staying for. Buffet breakfast served in the main dining room with proper linen and silverware and food was perfectly cooked with a good choice available.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and I will be staying there again soon. What would I ask for if I stayed there again? TV to be properly programmed with the right channels for the remote control.By the way, the number to ring for reception, from your room is 0.
