We had a two bedroom condo with kitchen and two baths (there were just two of us). A balcony overlooked the pool and ocean. It was beautiful. Everything was great except the water pressure in the shower which was terrible. We stayed in room 502 in the Brighton building. Parking was covered and great. The location in Arcadian Shores was ideal. Highly recommended.

Our first room (I think it was 310 Laurel Ct) had multiple cockroaches and palmeto bugs. When I brought this to the hotel's attention as we had a one year old child in the room, they moved us to another room that was suposedly 4 star. It was in the same complex 109 LC, well it still had bugs, it was not as nice as our previous room, the bathroom in the 2nd bedroom shower did not work and I ended up with a double bed instead of a king. I was truly not impressed with the property where we stayed. The other areas of the facility were very nice. I will also suggest that the lazy river area, etc remains open longer as they let us in & then 10 minutes later closed it. I just wanted to let you now we were in town for 8 days & did not experience any bugs at the other locations (a beach house & another hotel down the mb strip) not a one so I believe it was an issue. I would not recommend this location nor would I stay there again unless it was in the main hotel.

we have stayed at several of the kingston plantation buildings and the margate tower was by far the best. it is quite new so i guess it should be but if you travel alot you know that is not always the case. the kingston property has many different developments and it looks like a lot of people actually live there so the grounds/pools are nicely kept up. the security gate at the front is nice and is manned 24/7. the resort is actually between myrtle beach and north myrtle beach so it is easy to get to the many attractions, golf, etc. there is also one of those gigantic walmarts about 10 minutes away. its like descending into about the 10th level of hell to get in and out of that store but you can get everything you need there from wine to suntan lotion! only minor complaint about the resort was the ridiculously long lines at check-in (this has happened multiple times to us at kingston). will definitely stay here again, though.

We had a wonderful time at the Brighton Hotel. We had a side oceanview but we were on the 18th floor and could see for miles. It was beautiful!! The room was really clean as well as the hotel in general. We had read on other reviews about the elevator problems and we did experience that several times but that did not ruin it for us. If that problem was fixed I would have rated this trip 100%. Overall this made for a wonderful birthday for me :} !!

"I stayed at the North Hampton. Please note that they are individually owned so quality can vary. My condo was absolutely wonderful. Very spacious, very close to beach, very nice amenities, except no internet connection. Otherwise, great!"

"Booked a last minute stay at the resort. I was pleasantly surprised. It was located in an exclusive gated community. The building was new or newly renovated. The location was excellent, the services were great. If so inclined, check out the $5M health club. I will stay here again "

"Nice grounds & pools, great location. Stayed in hi-rise Southampton Bldg, very shabby, no signage, dirty elevators. Our one-bdrm ""suite"" was a typical hotel room; bathroom, 2 beds, balcony. Had fridge, microwave, & coffee pot by the balcony door, no sink. No hangers, contacted housekeeping, no response. ALL the dresser drawers fell when you opened them. Coffee never replenished. Lobby of the main hi-rise is very nice TOTALLY different from Southampton. Breakfast was $12pp and poor. Excellent Pina Colada but $8.40. "

"We stayed at the Margate Tower for a week. There were 7 of us (including a 9 month old). It was the best stay ever. What gorgeous rooms, loved the entire tower, great access to SPLASH! Will stay again this year!"

"Group of us checked in started at 4 p.m. We arrived in the lobby to check in at about 6:30 p.m. Had long lines, disorganized desk staff. Lack of management presence. Several families registered for the same room that another family had already checked into. Unit smelled heavily of smoke, the sheets on bed had stains, and comforter not clean. Not in units until about 9 p.m. Have doubts about any return visits.Because of the extent of what happened, I thought your organization needed to know about it."

"My family and I stayed 5 nights. Stayed 2 nights at North Hampton- outdated, filthy rooms, moldy bathrooms, appliances didn't work, doors didn't lock- after 1 hour of waiting at front desk we were upgraded to the Brighton- Beautiful! Will be staying here next year. Don't waste your time at the Hamptons! "

"from the moment we checked in, it was utter disorganization. our villa was not ready until after 5p, and we were by no means the only ones. we were left at the desk for 30 minutes without explnation. food was awful, and expensive. roach in room. "

Great Hotel... Or should I say Villa. We came as a group for a business retreat. With the lake view from the balcony and the queit ambiance of the villa our brainstorm sessions were not in vain. Major accomplishments were achieved.
