Excellent accommodatio and very welcoming hostConveniently located on main road between airport and city centre, with express bus stop immediately outside. Large, well-maintained house. After arriving in very warm weather, the complimentary ice cold beer was a nice surprise. Very comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. The cooked breakfast was enormous!

World ClassWe stayed just one night at the Kingsburgh and it was excellent. The welcome was first class and they management could not do more for you. The room was really high quality, the bed super comfy and the breakfast was amazing. It's excellent value for money considering the expensive location and it's got free parking within the grounds. Thanks ever so much Kingsburgh House - I would recommend to everyone as the best guest house I've ever stayed in.

Long Weekend in EdinburghWe spent a very enjoyable weekend in the Kingsburgh Room. The experience lived up to the reviews with excellent hosts, lovely room and first class breakfast. I have travelled widely and stayed at many hotels and this is certainly one to be recommended from our experience. Nothing seemed to much trouble and was definately value for money.

Top-scoring and a well-deserved reputationLittle more to add to the many excellent reviews posted so far. The owners of Kingsburgh House have clearly worked hard - and still do - to retain the high standards that have earned their well-deserved reputation. It's a lovely house with high-ceilinged rooms (we had a four-poster); and although ours faced onto the busy Corstophine Road, directly overlooking Murrayfield stadium, double glazing kept the traffic noise to a minimum and overall the experience was relaxing and very pleasant indeed. With the frequent bus service literally outside, it scores on convenience too for those not keen on driving into the city centre. Highly recommended!

Edinburgh BreakThis is the second time we have been to this hotel we stayed in 2008. The house and decor are beautiful yet the owners make you feel as if you are sharing their home. The breakfast is excellent. There is no negative feedback I can give to this hotel I would recommend it to anyone. The bus service in Edinburgh is very good we purchased a day saver and left the car on the hotel car park

Great B&BWe stayed here for one night before flying back to London. Everything was great - lovely room, comfortable four poster with soft duvet, large towels, welcome drinks. Owner friendly and made us feel welcome. Near to the city centre so we just hopped on a bus for a ten minute ride. Great meal in The Dome Restaurant in George Street and we walked back.

Beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean guest house. Charming and attentive service from owners. Wonderful freshly cooked breakfast to order with very generous portions and excellent choice. Very convenient situation for public transport especially as Edinburgh seems to be one giant road works at the moment and the public transport works.

What a great hotel, friendly and helpful. The rooms are fabulous it feels more like home than a B&B. Attention to detail in the rooms, I am very picky about cleanliness and this was a dream come true. Can,t praise it enough, in fact it is a shame to tell you how good it is and keep it to ourselves but when someone tries so hard to make your stay so welcoming they deserve the business.
