Though a woman at the reception was useless in terms of sightseeing advice, other aspects of the hotel met my budget traveller's standards. :) Especially, its central location is great.

The room was a good size but really needed a up date very old and tired, bed was very comfortable and the room service was good, just a little dusty and the carpet was dirty and stained. may return if rooms improve, breakfast was lovely.

This hotel's rooms are in need of refurbishment and bed is a little hard, but clean and very convenient, priced well central city accomodation,and has reasonable parking at $9 per day.

Nice central city location situated 1 block from the Hay Street Mall. Its an older style hotel, with larger style rooms. Clean & comfortable

Room is stained and does not appear clean. Wireless internet connection is unstable. Room door cannot be opened or shut properly. Service at reception is inconsistent, ranging from very attentive to indifference, depending on who is manning the desk at a particular moment. But close proximity to Hay St Mall is great.

We stayed in a Budget Rm for triple pax for a week in Jun 08. Great location right in city, near to free CAT bus stop, shoping malls, restaurants etc. Although the rm & furniture are a little old and dull-looking, it is spacious with window view. Shower is powerful and its hot water mixer is very sensitive to its control. TV has sharp images with Movies options. Roof-top Pool closed in winter. Good security. Gd value for its location and price.

The hotel is near to the Hay Street shopping mall. That was the plus point. The room TV was unserviceable on the second day of my stay and was replaced on the third day's evening after many calls to the reception. Other than that, everything was fine.

From our recent experience we will think again about staying at Kings for more than one night. The reason being because of the hastle we had with parking. [and I know that this is outside your contreol.] Otherwise we enjoy staying there, closeness to the city as well as other local facilities. Thanks.
