Kingfisher HotelGreat setting for a hotel and although the wooden exterior of the accomodation looked a little military the rooms themselves were clean and well equiped, if a little basic.

This a golf club with chalet style rooms attached on two floors on a holiday camp style. Whilst the rooms are clean and modern if a bit small, you cannot comsume alcohol in the rooms, they are detached from the club house, the bathroom is very small and the management seemed a bit disorganised when we were there. On arrival you have to go the club house to seek out the Duty Manager. I asked did he need a credit card and he wasn't sure. Same story in the morning when we checked out, the Duty Manager did not know if we he needed a credit card or not. The dining room for dinner was also chaotic and no-one could tell us if we could get a hot meal, so we opted for a taxi into Stony Stratford to get dinner. The hotel was ok and I would only stay there again for convenience to the Silverstone Circuit. Its a very quiet location and the setting is really nice.

Not a room in a hotel rather a room in an accomodation block The room was clean and tidy only coffee and chocolate in the room had to request tea bags. There is only the four main channels on the TV BBC 1 & 2 ITV and channel 4 no radio available. some interesting notes ie you cannot charge mobile phones in your room. Other points that you do not come across in normal hotels.Plus points they made me a good sandwich on the Sunday evening when I arrived at 21:30 as no other food available. The breakfast was first class and freshly cooked to order with wonderful views over teh golf course.

The room was peaceful, clean and modern. It had an amazing view of kingfisher lake, and was in a purpose built annex which again was very nice. The surroundings were magnificent, with natural sunset and sunrise due to no outside lighting for miles, and we even saw a few deer running around outside our room!Breakfast was great, possibly the best hotel sausages I've had!The one big downfall was that we were not advised that there was a wedding the night we were there which meant that the restaurant was closed and we had to go into stony stratford. But the town was great, loads to choose from, and a friendly atmosphere in the local pub we were in. All in all a great place to stay, and I would definately stay there again!

Good outfit, only let down by a lack of tv choice in the rooms, a 15 year old tv with no satellite choice is hardly acceptable in this day and age.

the hotel is in a very quiet location which suited me. i stayed in an annex which is seperate from the main building. the food and service were excellent even serving breakfast out of hours was no problem. i cannot comment on the suitability for children as i was on my own. no satalite tv. i would stay here again.

I work in Milton Keynes but live in Cheshire and so need to stay over at least twice a week. I found this lovely place on laterooms and thought I would try it as my usual haunt had upped their prices! The staff are welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. If you are looking for a home from home this is it. It doesn't offer the big corporate feel or the nouveau cuisine of it's big chain neighbours but as a woman on my own I find this so much more welcoming and less intimidating. It's more of a country club than a traditional hotel but for me, it's just what I need. Food quality is excellent - I can even phone ahead if there is something particular I fancy for dinner, and they will prepare it! Breakfast is cooked fresh, not left in one of those huge buffet trays, and you can choose anything from the menu. In some ways I am reluctant to sing it's praises too much, as I don't want to suddenley find it booked up when I need a room! In short, if you want peace and quiet along with value for money and friendly comfortable surroundings this is it.

Although the leisure facilities are very good, the rooms are very basic indeed, constructed in the form of an 'accommodation block' away from the main building. If you intend to use the facilities, stay here by all means. However, if it's room and food only you need, stay elsewhere. Also, the hotel drive is unsurfaced and gets very muddy.

This hotel was one of the worst 4 star I have stayed in would class it as a 2/3star. As you drive in to it you will find the rooms to be more of an American style Motel. Considering for the price of £ 85 that was paid the room was of the standards of a travelodge which would be half the price. Not 24 reception as keys are left in bar after 6pm. No room service or food after 9pm which is a little annoying. Food quality was basic.

The hotel was very much business orientated with the added attraction for 'Middle Management' of being within a golf course.Perhaps they should go the whole hogg and have business networking sessions.Overall I enjoyed my stay, the food was good, the staff very friendly and the service great.
