The King Street Hotel is a Grade II listed Georgian building built in 1803 as a rectory and represents an excellent example of Georgian architecture retaining most of it's original features. The hotel has recently received a fabulous refurbishment transforming it into Maidstone's first 'boutique' hotel with each room individually designed to provide a touch of glamour and absolute comfort. We have also converted our Georgian drawing room into a busy restaurant which is run by Sean Bissett our executive chef who ensures all produce is sourced locally and cooked to the highest standards. King Street Hotel is located in the heart of the town centre next to all the shops, restaurants, bars, cinemas, theatres ensuring no need to take your car out or book a taxi. The main bus and train stations are also a short walk from the hotel. There is a vibrant night life in Maidstone with a wide range of pubs, bars and restaurants and over 10 nightclubs in the town centre. Live bands playa range of music from jazz to blues, rock and country. The Lockmeadow Entertainment Complex includes 8-screen Odeon Multiplex cinema, nightclub restaurants, cafes and bars close to the town centre.
