The Hotel is set in the heart of Medway and Maritime Kent and is just 2 minutes away from Historic Rochester with it's Castle, Cathedral and Dickens Museum. Other sites of interest in Medway include Chatham Historic Dockyard, Fort Amherst, the Royal Engineers Museum and Dicken's World. Central London is just 30 miles away as is the Channel Tunnel and Ferry Ports. Other places of interest include Bluewater Shopping Centre, Leeds Castle and Canterbury. We are ideal as a base for exploring both Kent and London and make an ideal stopover for coaches heading to and from Europe. What are your breakfast options?: Our breakfast is included in all of our room rates and is £4.50 for additional guests. Our breakfast consists of cereals, toast and preserves, a choice of fresh fruit, yoghurt and a full cooked breakfast. Vegetarian and gluten free options are available on request.

Breakfast is available from:
7:00 am - 9:30 am on Monday and Saturday
6:30 am - 9:30 am on Tuesday to Friday
8:00 am - 11:00 am on Sunday

For guests leaving the venue earlier than these times may have a Continental breakfast to their room or sandwiches to take away.
What transport is available to get around?: Buses run from just outside our Hotel to Chatham (next town) here, you can change at the bus depot to travel to Rochester. Gillingham train station is roughly a 10- to 15-minute walk away, with two stops into Rochester. Again Rochester train station is directly next to Rochester town centre, close to the Castle and Cathedral. Leeds Castle is not as close as the previous, a taxi ride or drive would be best, roughly 20 minutes by car.
What can I do nearby?: Gillingham town centre is a short walk from us, with many cafes serving breakfasts. We do not hold entertainment at our venue, however there are many attractions in the local towns such as Rochester Castle and Cathedral, Dickens World, Leeds Castle and many more.
Do you have internet?: We do have internet access in our hotel. Access is free in our reception area for those with their own laptops or a £3.00 hourly charge to use the hotel's computer. Internet in guest rooms is £5.00 from midday to midday.
Do you provide parking?: There is parking at all of these attractions and we have on-site parking.
