Kibaek Hotel

All rooms have bath- radio- TV- wireless Internet and a good writing table. The hotel offers gourmet stays- mini holidays- seminar stays and all inclusive stays - where in the evening you can have free beer- sodas- wine and coffee. In connection with the fairs in Herning Kibaek Hotel is often used as a place for an overnight stay because it is situated only 10 min. by car from the fair centre. The hotel often arranges parties and celebrations and it has among other things a banqueting room for 170 persons and a recently renovated room for 65 persons.
Kibaek became a railway town in 1881 when the railway between Herning and Skjern opened. Some ten years later an inn with a stable opened in the town and in the late 1920s it became the present Kibaek Hotel. Right from the first day when the hotel opened and began receiving guests - the good reception and the personal service have been the hallmark of the hotel. This is also the case today - no matter whether you are on holiday- a business traveller visiting a fair- attending a seminar or on an excursion to Mid or West Jutland.
Jette and John Voetmann have owned Kibaek Hotel since 1989and in 2010 the hotel got 12 new and fine rooms so that it has a total of 50 rooms today. These brand new rooms have been upgraded even more than the 14 rooms which were built in 2006.
Kibaek Hotel is a good base for those who wish to explore the nature and sights of Central and West Jutland. On the one side the moors and the lignite fields Soeby Brunkulslejer and on the other the magnificent scenery Skjern Enge and a bit further west the North Sea itself. Also LEGOLAND and Givskud Zoo are within range.
When you return to the hotel after a whole days experiences the host welcomes you in a cosy restaurant in which the menu comprises both the good Danish and the elegant French cuisine. The host is also the chef and he invariably chooses the best ingredients of the season.
