Kew House and Apartments offer you a choice of stylish and contemporary accommodation in central Edinburgh. Kew House is a six bedroom guest accommodation offering hotel standards but with the personal service and attention to detail expected from a luxury bed and breakfast. Our high standards are reflected in our grades from the Tourism authorities. Kew House is a five star Guest Accommodation with the AA (Highly Commended for 2008-2009), a grading acknowledged by Visit Scotland. Kew Apartments boast a four star and five star Serviced Apartment rating with Visit Scotland. Our location near Murrayfield Rugby Stadium, the Edinburgh International Conference Centre and less than one mile west of Princes Street and Edinburgh Castle, makes visiting all major tourist attractions very easy. We are on the main A8 route to the City Centre from the North, Glasgow, Stirling and six miles from Edinburgh Airport. We are also just over one mile from Edinburgh (Waverley) Station and a few minutes walk from Haymarket Station. Edinburgh is a city best discovered on foot and with Princes Street only 15 minutes walk away, guests find our location ideal for exploring the sights. For the less energetic, there are very frequent buses to take you on the brief trip to the heart of the city. A delicious breakfast with local ingredients is cooked to order and included in the rate at Kew House. Our apartments sleep up to 3 people and are serviced daily and the rate includes Continental breakfast and a daily maid service. Parking is included at both Kew House and Kew Apartments. We have free broadband internet access at Kew House with free wi-fi throughout thr building and this is available for apartment guests to use too. Wi-fi is available at one of the apartments.

Enjoyed our stay and would recommend the guest house to our friends and familyThe situation of Kew House is very handy for walking into the centre of Edinburgh. Having a car park is an added bonus too. Comfort and cleanliness were first class and I would recommend staying there.

Very niceVery nice place. Friendly and helpful host. Good location only 15 minutes walk to city centre. Room nicely furnished. Breakfast was lovely. HIghly recommended !

very clean hotel, with free parking, lovelly food, and friendly informative service, ideally situated to walk into, or travel by bus into the city centre. we would stay at kew house when we visit again.

Would certainly stay here againWe booked in for an overnight and were not disappointed. The room was very well considered, spacious and extremely clean and comfortable. Its a short stroll from Edinburgh city centre, though you could take the bus very easily from outside too. We left the car in the hotel carpark for our stay. The owner was very pleasant, helpful and clearly very proud of his guesthouse; rightly so as he's clearly taken time to think of the guests every need. Most comfortable bed ever slept in ; and I am the 'Princess and the Pea' when it comes to beds!

wonderfulreturn visit on the way back home really looked forward to returning to comfortable beds lovely clean rooms. Standard excellent, nice shower /bathroom. nothing too much trouble for our host. Sherry, chocs and fresh flowers in room really nice touch. we regualrly have weekends away and this is the nicest place we have stayed in for a long time. Alreadty recommended to friends/family.

Very Enjoyable StayWe stayed for a couple of nights in April 09, and the service was great, the room spotless, and the hosts very welcoming.Edinburgh is a wonderful city, and this must be one of the better places to stay whilst visiting. The room was very clean, extremely comfortable, and quite a good size. We had one of the "Superior" rooms, and found it roomy for a couple.The hosts even know a good restaurant or two for evening meals.We would visit again, and look forward to being able to do so.

Excellent welcome and friendly service. Secure parking a bonus and you can walk in to the city if you like to take the air. Fresh towels every day, chocolates on your pillow - what more could you want?

5 * Guest House well worth a visitWe thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at Kew House. The warm welcome by the owners was very nice and throughout our stay we both thought they were most accommodating and happy to help. Our room was very comfortable and I especially appreciated all the little extras like sherry and chocolates in the room,bottled water and lovely little packets of shortbread to have with your cuppa ! The toiletries were also good quality and lovely to use. We had a delicious cooked breakfast cooked to order and flowing fresh coffee and toast if we wished more. All in all a very pleasant stay. One more thing being able to park your car in the private car park at the back was a great bonus..

I stayed in Kew House for two nights with my boyfriend over the valentines weekend.It is a lovely place and I would recommend it to anyone. No expense was spared in making sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.The owner had excellent people skills and was the heart and soul of the place. He explained the best and cheapest ways to get around the city and enjoy what it had to offer.Only problem is, I will compare all future accomadation to this place and it will fall short.

Very nice owners who were extremely helpful in finding out additional information (local buses, restaurants etc). Only quibble would be the size of the room for an extended stay, although I believe the other rooms are larger.

Kew House was a great place to stay, great owners who if you needed them where there, Kew House was spotless, modern and the owners must put a lot of their profits back into keeping it at such a high standard. The food was good, hot and filling. The owners have great local knowledge so if you need a bus or a great place to eat out then they have the info. My wife enjoyed the relaxed feeling of Kew House. If you should need the internet its there for free, as are chocolates and sherry in your room when you arrive. We will be returning for a longer stay next time.
