Stayed in June. It is OK hotel pretty old though. As a places I want to note good location - close to everything, nice park with a pool, tennis courts, kids playground. As I sad furniture was a bit worn out and air-conditioning was not good (I had to sleep with an open window) They have decent animation program. Fitness facilities are very basic. Oh they have a free Wi-Fi in the lobby. Food was OK (my rate included only breakfast) but not much variety. The majority of guests were elderly people and couples. So if you can get a good rate I recommend it

Bad 1st Impression continued throughout the stayHmm what can I say. Arrived having booked the day before. Reception staff didn't have a clue about our booking, despite us having given them the booking reference they were adament we weren't booked there. I offered to show them the confirmation email if they would let me use the internet. They would, for an hourly fee!?? Finally they agreed to let me use the computer without a charge to proove we had booked, problem not solved, they didn't know who LateRooms.com are? goodness me, hard to check into this one. Having got on the phone to LateRooms by miracle the receptionist finds the booking. Wow. We got to the room, a little weary from checking in and low and behold it wasn't to bad, I had expected worse after passing through the dingy dated reception. We had to continue our journey early the next morning, pleasantly we had been informed breakfast started at 5, we only had to be off at 6:30 so we were very happy at the idea of filling up for our journey. Sadly when we sat down to brakfast at 6 nothing was ready, and no-one seemed that keen to help, we ate a cold slice of ham with yesterdays bread and a cup of coffee and headed for the door. The porter offered to get us a cab, how very nice of him. He didn't realise we had made the same journey to the hotel the day before though, and promptly tried to charge us 50dirhams, we had paid 13 only on the way, so we politely told him to stick it and found our own way, for a thrid of the price. Don't be fooled by the advert, this hotel is distinclty 2* service is poor, the decor needs an overhaul, very limited TV channels compared to other hotels, badly run restaurant (Thankfully we weren't full board & ate our evening meal in a good restaurant up the road "The Water Garden") and staff trying to make a cheap buck instead of worrying about the long term reputation of their hotel. Overall marks out of 10 somewhere between 0 & 2.
