I don't know what people expect from a hotel but i don't see how anyone can like this hotel. As people have said there is a car spaces for 5 cars at most wen its a 30 room hotel so we end up paying extra for a car park. The hotel its self is very old and dates in side and you can smell as soon as you walk through the door which isn't a good sign. We payed 114 pound for a family which isn't cheap at all and for the size of the room is day light robbery. The room its self again is old and dated and does not smell nice at all the bathroom is tiny and can hardly move. The shower dribbles out and hardly get you wet. Also if the window is open the roof blows about and actually fell down into the room you will understand if you actually go the hotel which i wouldn't advise. The television has 3 channels all of which are terrible quality. They said that it was 24 hour reception there were four of us and 2 came back early with out the key and they would not allow us in because we didn't have the key even though we gave the name and had the receipt which is a disgrace, in the end police were called and we ended up paying for the room and having to remove are stuff and sleep i the car i will be taking this up with the tourist board and further but really would not advise this hotel at all.

We were able to go in to our room early which was excellent!We were given a car parking token so we could park at the hotel for over 24 hours. This was particularly helpful as it is difficult and expensive to park in Blackpool.The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and very friendly.I would certainly stay at this hotel again.

Paul the hotel manager greeted us on arrival and from then on the service we had was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. All the staff are very friendly. The room was very clean and everything in it was comfortable. The food was excellent and being valentine’s weekend it was trimmed up for the occasion and a special meal and a cabaret completed the night. We will definitely go back again and also recommend it to all our family and friends.

very outdated hotel, rooms where in need of a refurbish, walls and ceilings stained with ?. no space on the car park limited space means two car parking for a hotel with 30plus rooms,,,,, we arrived and asked about evening meal was told we had to pay there and then ,,,,,, we paid the money and then i was told it was lamb tonight. went out to the car which was parked on double yellow lines as there ws no parking. weent to our rooms and after seeing them decided on not eating there. went down to reception and asked if we could have the money back for the evening meal and we would eat out,,, was told no as food was already now cooked,,,,,, this was 3 hours before food was due to be served......told them we didnt want lamb as the grils wouldnt eat it and was told we you can have chicken but your not having your money back......... beware all those staying here.... if you like a nice modern comfortable hotel then this isnt the place for you....... Management Response I’m sorry, but we have to disagree with this comment…for the following reasons: Firstly, rooms have been refurbished just two months ago, and although we try we cannot satisfy every taste. Secondly, in regards to the car parking, we have stated clearly on the webpage (and alert guests upon phone call) that car parking spaces are limited and on that point we work on a first come first serve basis. As this customer booked for bed and breakfast she required evening dinner 1 hour before dinner was served (this is when she checked in-which we know as the time is noted upon our arrival forms). It is hotel policy to settle all bills and monies on arrival. So therefore, she paid for a lamb roast dinner of which she was aware when she asked at reception before paying for it. However, it was the customer’s choice to not have evening meal (after a change of mind-35 minutes before the meal was to be served), although we do not refund (as the meals were already prepared), we still tried to accommodate with an alternati

Recommend this hotel if you are just looking for a base to sleep . The hotel was ideally situated for all major attractions. The hotel itself was clean and tidy, but easy to get lost trying to find room especially if had a wee drink or two! We were in Rms 18 which was on small side and had no view but bed was comfy which is what you want after a hectic day sightseeing and night of socialising. Breakfast was good, freshly cooked, but dont recommend evening meal, no choice, just had to take what was made, although as you had to book (& pay for) it in morning you knew what was on offer. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Special mention to Julie who provided the entertainment on Saturday night, even though she had an audience of only 9 people she could have been performing to thousands.
