The hotel was very clean and the service was great! We enjoyed the tapas menu at the restaurant.

Room was old, dirty, and thermostat did not work. Not a three star hotel. Old, run down, and the rooms were in very poor shape.

This place is gorgeous, and the staff was friendly and courteous. The fitness center was great, as well as the pool and sauna. I would recommend Kensington to friends.

We attended a wedding here, they ran out of food and the last 60 people ate chicken nuggets for dinner. The room temperature was too cold, the heat did not work. The children were up all night complaining about the temp.

Excellent experience. We will return.

It was quite and comfortable and the coffee was good. We asked for a non smoking room and room we were assigned smelled bad we had to change rooms. The hotel is older which in its self isn't bad but the hall ways seemed restrictive and had odors. The public areas seemed uninviting.

Stayed two nights, in town for a violin for my son. People were all friendly. Used pool (huge, warm, clean - with 9' deep end), room service (fast, friendly, hot, cheap, good quality and portion size), hot tub (just right temperature, clean). Room was nice, whole place was well-maintained and spotless, quite impressive. Big mall across street and lots of area restaurants. Definitely worth a stay! We were impressed most by immaculate tile area of pool, nice entry area and restaurant, staff that answered every question, free internet on three PC's in lobby so we never bothered with our own laptop.

Looks can be very deceiving, this hotel is very old, you can't control your own temperature in your room and if you call to the front desk you get this crazy manager who tells you thats how the hotel is buildt so your out of luck? Are you serious? Not to mention the GM treats the desk staff Aweful one of the desk clerks was talking to the other when i checked in and talking about how the GM yells and screams at all the staff. Just don't do it to yourself their are much nicer hotels in Ann Arbor!

I asked the front desk if they had a guest services book, I'd never seen a hotel that didn't and thought my room not having one was probably an oversight. The front desk employees were all very polite except for one lady who I think was a supervisor, seemed very annoyed by my question. I stayed one day longer than I had originally booked on Orbitz and when I checked they had jacked my rate up almost double the Orbitz rate and over thirty dollars above their internet rate. On a positive note, the restaurant food was good and very reasonably priced. The waitress, [...] sp? was very friendly and professional.

Bathrooms being too small, the tub stopper didn't work. The rooms were quite, clean and the coffee in the morning was surprisingly good.

I recently stayed at this hotel and absolutely loved it! The staff was very friendly and attentive. The only thing that could have made my stay better would have been having a refrigerator & microwave in my room- I found out at check-out that they do offer rooms with those though. I'll definitely stay here again for my next trip to Ann Arbor and will recommend it to my friends!

Close to college and close to shops. Great for weddings and alike.

Three nights of wonderful rest, and then a great wedding day with excellent service for the reception, held at the hotel.

Clean. Old and low ceilings. We couldn't get our on demand movie channel to work, technician couldn't either.

Friendly Staff....upgraded us to the executive floor. Our room, 321, smelled of mildew....We soon found out why: roof leaked, a steady drip, soggy wet rug. Tiny bathroom....no counter space for toiletry bag...

Very nice hotel. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. We added a romance package that was very nice also. The restaurant was great and food was better then expected. Here is one thing I didn't like: I left my cell phone charger behind in the hotel room, I called the following Monday morning and requested they look in the room. They found my charger and said they would send it to me via US Mail. When I looked at my credit card statement a few days later I noticed a new charge on the following Monday after our stay. The charge match the postage of my cell phone charger package.

The decor was outstanding, hanging art beautiful and very nice ambiance. Bathrooms very cramped where toilet and tub were located. The hotel staff were very cordial and helpful, restaurant was convenient and food of good quality, the decor of lobby and rooms was just beautiful.

I really liked the hotel at first because it is clean and the bed is super comfy but you can hear your neighbors sneeze, and everything else imaginable, etc. That was awful.
Date of Stay:

The price was very reasonable for a very nice room. The complementary breakfast room for the "executive" level was quite comfortable. Nicer if they extended the 6 to 9 am coffee to 10 or 11 on weekends.
