A great place to stay in central BathWe stayed for one night in poor weather. Our hosts were wonderful. Umbrellas leant, bags carried from the car etc. Slightly extravagantly decorated but delightful place to stay.

Hidden gemThis hotel was much, much better than anticipated. The room was small to say the least but that wasn't an issue - I spent most of the night out in Bath so all I needed a room for was sleeping in! Ready for me was a comfortable bed and all the necessary elements for a good stay available at the highest quality. The room was well-laid out with refreshments and essentials. Very quiet hotel, the shared bathroom was extremely clean, nice hot water in a powerful shower, soaps and shampoos were high quality. Breakfast was impeccable; extensive choice and high quality locally sourced ingredients. Staff were incredibly friendly, well spoken, very polite and well-mannered. Other guests on my stay were quiet and early breakfast was not busy. Excellent!

Wonderfull B&B/hotel in BathI would strongly recommend the Kennard Hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Bath for either business or pleasure. A charming property with beautiful rooms, friendly and helpful owners/staff with a great customer focussed attitude. The breakfast is wonderful with a choice of coffee's from around the world and a cooked breakfast as good as any i have had in UK. My only regret is that i had to leave for a meeting without having time to finish the lovely coffee.

A lovely find in BathI really enjoyed my little break. The room was beautiful and overlooked a very pretty yet sophisticated garden. And how nice to be supplied with lots of milk instead of the mean supplies one often finds! Pristine fluffy towels too. I would definitely stay here again, the service was both welcoming and discreet.

Room well equiped though a little small and the chair was too low for working at the desk but these were only minor issues as the stay was very enjoyable. Location is excellent for central Bath and parking permit very useful and thoughtful. Wi-fi signal strength in the room was excellent. Breakfast was splendid.

The best B & B I have stayed in!With my work I stay in small hotels and B & Bs all the time. The service, cleanliness and welcome was the best I have had. Great place to stay

Fantastic hotel and amazing valueI've stayed in lots of B&Bs which I've booked at the last minute. It's always hit or miss but this was definitely a hit. I had a single room with a shared shower room which I thought was a compromise for me but actually the entire place is so clean and beautiful that it was no problem - they even provide a robe and slippers in case you don't want to venture to the nearby bathroom in your nightie! The hotel is brilliantly located right in the heart of bath and only 10 mins from the station so no taxi fare. The breakfast was the most generous I've ever had and the coffee was lovely. I can't praise this place enough. Will certainly stay there again and will recommend it to everyone.

Fantastic place in great locationLoved the Kennard Hotel ! Wonderful service, fantastic location just over Pulteney Bridge on a nice residential street. Only 5 mins walk from Abbey/Baths and just about 10min walk to train station. Giovanni and Mary couldn't have been more helpful and the breakfast food was delicious and very plentiful. On Easter Sunday they even gave us all chocolate Easter eggs and for one guest's birthday they brought a lovely cake to the table. My single room was small but super functional. It shares a bath w/one other single room and the bathroom is very large and modern w/a great shower. My only (minor) complaint would be the noise from the street (room was at front of building) and also from the room next door on my first night (man sounded like he was snoring right next to me!), but as building is from 1700s, you know you've got thin walls/windows. Overall I highly recommend the Kennard!

Kennard hotel has very good customer service with clean and nicely decorated rooms. The owner serves delicious full English breakfast. They also provide free internet service. The hotel is only a 7-10 mins walk to Bath's downtown area and major attractions, which is very convenient for tourists. The only downfall is that it was hard to adjust hot water in shower. Overall, I had a great experience there and would recommend others to try this hotel.

midweek breakIdeal location for abandoning the car, with complimentary parking permit, and only 2 minutes walk to centre. Although the double room was snug, and would benefit from an additional easy chair to replace the luggage table, there was a large shower with good quality soap products. Excellent breakfast, in terms of both quality and selection, taken in a typical Bath room.No disturbance from traffic and whilst we enjoyed climbing the stairs it might be useful to have a stronger statement that the hotel is spread over four storeys.

The Kennard is everthing a small hotel should be, with the convienience of being only a short walk to the centre of the city. The complementary parking permit was particularly appreciated.

Kennards is a lovely hotel in a perfect location for visiting Bath. The owners are very friendly and helpful and breakfast is an event to look forward to. We will certainly try and stay here again the next time that we visit the city.

when we arrived the lady gave us a parking pass, then took our cases from the car and carried them upto our room.she was very kind and helpfull.explained everything about the hotel and gave very usefull information about bath, the shops,the sights and the restaurants.the hotel was lovelly and we could not fault the food, they even altered the menu. would love to stay there again.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful servicedelightful \"period\" dining room, sparkling with gilt and crystal!traditional English breakfast of exceptionally delicious food, beautifully cooked and served at a table laid with white linen, silver and atractive chinathe room was a little cluttered but very comfortable with all the \"trimmings\" expected in a 4* room and the en suite shower, although a little too small was spotlessly clean and attratively finished.Can't wait to return.....

This is really a first class Bed & Breakfast rather than a hotel, and is all the better for it. Mary & Giovanni have a great attention to detail without being OTT, being both professional and friendly. A passing tip from our experience would be to time your morning shower! The breakfast window between 8.00 and 9.15 put heavy demand on the hot water header tank, with our room (No 2) not getting any until after breakfast. The hotel was full, and this did not detract from a wonderful stay. The cleanliness and location made the Kennard a superb choice.
