On balmy summer nights, the dining room extends on to the large al-fresco terrace overlooking the pool area. Trattoria San Lawrenz: Surrounded by warm colours, vaulted ceilings and rustic decor, a dinner at the Italian-inspired Trattoria is a more informal yet stylish affair, topped up with a generous pinch of vacation spirit. Among the items vying for your attention on the menu is a delicious assortment of pasta and risottos and other genuine Italian fare. Try the veal piccata with asparagus and mushrooms or Scaloppine di Manzo. Freshly caught fish is cooked to the chef's inspiration - or your own wishes. Gazebo: The Gazebo is found in the lush and shaded garden surrounds of the Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz. When temperatures sore, a fresh garden salad of cucumber, peppers, onions and succulent cherry tomatoes, drizzled with honey-golden olive oil, just perfectly complements an idle day by the pool-side. Being an outdoors restaurant, the Gazebo opens between May and October only.

Location Nearest airport: Malta Directions: From the airport follow the signs to Gozo or Cirkewwa. After approximately 45 minutes or 45 kilometres you reach the ferry port of Cirkewwa. There you board the ferry and in about 30 minutes you arrive in Gozo. From Mgarr, please follow the signposts to Victoria and San Lawrenz. Shortly before you reach San Lawrenz take the first road to the left and you reach the Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz after approximately 200 metres.
