Kauai Sands Hotel lies directly beside the white sand beach along the Royal Coconut Coast, this hotel is situated in one of Kauai's top locations. An array of shopping options are available at the neighbouring Coconut Marketplace, as are a diverse selection of restaurants.

The beachside hotel comprises a total of 200 rooms; amongst the facilities count a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe and a cloakroom in addition to a newspaper stand, a restaurant (open for breakfast and lunch) and a laundrette. A car park is available to those arriving by car.

All of the rooms feature an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, a fridge, individually controllable air conditioning and a balcony or terrace. The standard rooms lie slightly further from the sea and thus have no sea views. The superior rooms afford views out over the gardens and lie somewhat closer to the sea. The rooms with kitchenettes overlook the pool and additionally come with a coffee machine, a hob, a toaster, a microwave and kitchenware.

Leisure options include 2 pools in the hotel grounds around which sun loungers have been laid out ready for use and an in-house gym. There is a restaurant that is open for breakfast and dinner only but there are loads more in the shopping area next door to the hotel.
