We have been staying in Marmaris for over 10 years and this is by far the worst place we have ever stayed. The staff are rude and inconsiderate kicking heavy footballs around the pool when people had small babies in the water, we were unable to sit at the pool with the kids. The rooms were never cleaned we had gone 5 days without so much as clean towels and had to finally go down to reception and complain and was given towels and bedding that day but the bins were never emptied unless we did it ourselves. After 4pm we were unable to use the restaurant as they were getting it ready for the evening meals so had to go across the road to Janas which wasn't such a bad thing as the food in Karakas was disgusting we ordered a sandwich and it was sent to the table toasted until it was black we had to return it. We were unable to use the air conditioning unless we paid an extra £60 so decided to buy a fan for our room instead and the manager wanted to then bill us an extra £10 a week for the electric. There was 14 of us together at the pool and only used 5 sunbeds as we spent most of the time in the water and the staff came and tried to take the sunbeds we were using from us because we were not drinking at the bar or ordering food. If all that wasn't enough to put us off ever returning to these apartments the fact that one of the staff had a small puppy that cried all through the night in pain because the staff had chopped the puppies ears off was enough to make sure we will never return to these apartments. We Love Turkey and Marmaris and couldn't believe how bad this place really was too stay.
